                Hello,

Fortunately, it sounds like you never sent them any bitcoin to actually get scammed.   I however, am still waiting for resolution.

I don't see any updates for the Baikal Giant B miner on their Support Page.

You can always email Baikal and explain your situation.   They will likely respond as they are not busy with new product releases at the moment.

If someone could figure out how to reprogram the FPGA's in the Baikal Giant B to mine other algorithms, this would be huge.  To be fair, the person could sell their firmware for a good price to other Giant-B owners.  This device is a monster in disguise for an expert FPGA programmer.

I don't think this unit uses FPGA chips, instead they're using ASIC chips, which cannot be reprogrammed.

if he will find out/reprogram firmware - why he should sell it?
he'd buy more baikals and mine himself on new algos... lol

If someone was able to reprogram the FPGA chips with new algorithms, how would they sell it?

Once it's released, it will become public domain.

It's a good point -- so has anyone heard of an FPGA specialist doing solo mining?  Such a person could make thousands of dollars per day.  I used to program FPGA's in the early 2000's... however it is very complicated and time consuming, way harder than writing normal software.

Dear all

My Baikal Giant B was now 14 Days running.
Now comes: "Scripta Down".
Any seconds after this message: No access to the baikal, the baikal I cant found in the network.

Do you know, what is the problem?

After new starts - the same.

Thanks

Double check your ip. If it’s not static it can change and you are trying to log into old ip.

i am more interested
how to mine vcash  with baikal giant b ?
when it will be possible
pools still not working
any alive pools is for vcash mine by giant b

I think so, A DCR difficulty go to the moon. Last week I can see 95-99 M but today it raising up to 105-110 M. The Global Hashrate = 1,345 TH/s. Both coinmine.pl pool & Suprnova.cc pool are around 70% of global hashrate. If BaikalMiner company still produce more Giant-B to the market. The profit from them may more decrease soon. If we can mine with other one, it will be very good choice.

Some one go to Cash pool (https://pool.vchain.info) that can be mine but the pool not sent any coins until now.

Note:
Today Baikal Giant-B profitability (https://whattomine.com/coins?utf8=✓&adapt_q_280x=0&adapt_q_380=0&adapt_q_fury=0&adapt_q_470=0&adapt_q_480=3&adapt_q_570=0&adapt_q_580=0&adapt_q_vega56=0&adapt_q_vega64=0&adapt_q_750Ti=0&adapt_q_1050Ti=0&adapt_q_10606=0&adapt_q_1070=1&adapt_q_1070Ti=0&adapt_q_1080=0&adapt_q_1080Ti=0&factor%5Beth_hr%5D=84.0&factor%5Beth_p%5D=405.0&factor%5Bgro_hr%5D=63.9&factor%5Bgro_p%5D=450.0&factor%5Bx11g_hr%5D=20.1&factor%5Bx11g_p%5D=420.0&factor%5Bcn_hr%5D=2190.0&factor%5Bcn_p%5D=330.0&factor%5Beq_hr%5D=870.0&factor%5Beq_p%5D=360.0&factor%5Blrev2_hr%5D=14700.0&factor%5Blrev2_p%5D=390.0&factor%5Bns_hr%5D=1950.0&factor%5Bns_p%5D=450.0&lbry=true&factor%5Blbry_hr%5D=40000.0&factor%5Blbry_p%5D=400.0&bk2bf=true&factor%5Bbk2b_hr%5D=80000.0&factor%5Bbk2b_p%5D=300.0&bk14=true&factor%5Bbk14_hr%5D=160000.0&factor%5Bbk14_p%5D=410.0&pas=true&factor%5Bpas_hr%5D=40000.0&factor%5Bpas_p%5D=210.0&factor%5Bskh_hr%5D=54.0&factor%5Bskh_p%5D=345.0&factor%5Bn5_hr%5D=57.0&factor%5Bn5_p%5D=345.0&factor%5Bl2z_hr%5D=420.0&factor%5Bl2z_p%5D=300.0&factor%5Bcost%5D=0.12&sort=Profitability24&volume=0&revenue=24h&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=abucoins&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=bitfinex&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=bittrex&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=binance&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=cryptopia&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=hitbtc&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=poloniex&factor%5Bexchanges%5D%5B%5D=yobit&dataset=Main&commit=Calculate)
