H20...   Getting a little concerned..  Going on 3 days in a row now where Payouts are very low(compared to past payouts)..  Can you address this and let us know what is going on please?

I'm guessing we don't have any of the coins that have >300% BTC profitability in the rotation, like luckycoin. Currently we're mining NVC, I believe. However, if we don't add these more profitable coins, this pool is pointless.

But even with NVC we should be getting 0.023 BTC per MH/s and day minus fees, which we're also not really close to.

And additionally, at these pool hashrates, it is rather important that we distribute the hashrate among different coins.

i am not certain about it, but i think there were a change in profitability algorithm that it does not change coin until it find a block of it. This method is useful in some situations but not useful when there are more easier and more profitable coins out there in that time.

as i said, i'm not sure about this statement, maybe i am wrong.

If you are using CGWatcher on that many rigs, this may be helpful if you're not already aware: http://manotechnology.blogspot.com/2013/08/web-config-files.html

Also, CGRemote will make managing 20 rigs very simple once it is finished (currently in beta): http://manotechnology.blogspot.com/p/cgremote.html

There is already a good sized list of feature requests for CGRemote, so if it doesn't do something already it probably will soon. If you have any ideas or requests on how to make managing several rigs or more as easily as possible, I'm always open to suggestions.

This is the 3rd time i've tried middlecoin for over 24 hours and payout is looking crap for tonight, less than me just mining straight LTC. I think i'll finally just call it quits lol.

That's actually a pretty smart idea, on the whole.

The problem is nova coin specifically, I know from mining on multipool it takes forever to get a block sometimes. For a pool this size, LTC can take a while too.

I think the variance is just too high for novacoin with our hashrate. We can go at it for hours, maybe a whole day and not get one block. Sometimes I just like to hop on middlecoin for 12 hours at a time, guess I can't do that anymore.

Who cares for variance? My rigs is here to run for the coming MONTHS. Id ont care if we have one bad DAY or one bad WEEK.

As long as we mine the most profitable coin i am completly satisfied.

Yeah... tonight seems especially terrible, and yet my share-rate isn't any worse then usual and it doesn't look like a big surplus is stuck in immature/unexchanged. Any word on what's going on?

Are the MiddlePool numbers only for accepted mh/s or total? For Litecoin, accepted/total may be the same, but not on MiddlePool. I have seen that it has lots of rejects sometimes when I looked. If I solo mine Litecoin with 1 mh/s, I get .0213 BTC as there are very few rejects, but when I mine at MiddlePool with the same rig that gets 1 mh/s at Litecoin, MiddlePool frequently reports less than 1 mh/s total (accepted plus rejected), and obviously less accepted than the total. So, I always get somewhat less than 1mh/s total and considerably less than 1mh/s accepted at MiddlePool from a 1 mh/s rig, which I think means I get less than the numbers you show for MiddlePool when compared to Litecoin? Is this correct or am I missing something? Thank you. I like your pool and am using it with my rig but I don't really have numbers to compare with yours because I'm down quite a bit.

They're for the total. Accepted + rejected.

They do not, however, include stale shares for people that have --no-submit-stale on. So actually middlecoin profits are slightly lower than what I posted. I'm not sure by how much. Maybe a percent or two.

I was getting ~42-44 Ltc per day @ current diff..this returns .92 btc per day

last round i got .58 btc

That is the result plain & simple....it has been this way for the last 48 hours... There has also been a FTC cash in round @ 138 diff

I dont really care how you do it or what your method is but long story short...the results speak for them selfs and currently even taking in slow maturing funds it is a negative not a positive...

Both myself & another 20 rig miner tried you for 24 hours and he got teh same result... so Im in for another 24 hours but what happend to the previous 5 days befor ethe last 2 days ...it was a good average of 1.2+ btc for mining capacity ...how has there been such a dramatic change in teh last 48 hours....??

Faster block coins will produce higher numbers of stales (if you have --no-submit-stales enabled in cgminer) and rejects than slower block coins such as LTC/NVC and some others, just take a look at coinchoose.com and order the results by Profitability % Adj for Stales.  And I seriously doubt if you SOLO mined LTC you would be getting .0213 BTC per day.....it would either be 50LTC (Finding a block) or 0 a day.  My guess would be the latter for a large period of time and I think you meant pooled mining elsewhere.

Have you considered mining against p2pool for the high difficulty coins?  That would smooth out variance and you don't actually have to pay any fee for using p2pool.

Hello

I wonder why my miners speed is lower than what i produce

i have 1 miner at about .730 Mhash and the other one at 0.240 Mhash

My accespted MH/s does not reflec the real speed (should be .730+.240=0.970 and its alway showing 0.750-0.820)

Then i just switched my second miner on another address  since a few hours and it show:
Accepted MH/s:    0.0093

and on my miner screens, i can see the speed is stable at 0.240 MH/s...??
