I don't really think any is afraid, the few greedy rich might be worried of bitcoin coming to make every body financially okay.
Some might also not be certain because is kind of a new thing.

if I pay attention to the students, especially those who still ask the parents (money), they are actually convinced and the currency of digital currency like the example BTC, but they are still confused about step by step to run it, not only that, they also it still takes a lot of time to play and do school work.
in terms of sociology of the minimum age to explore the digital currency is at least the age of 18 Th because they have begun to understand each other's responsibilities.
so hopefully can be useful.

Every student of the political economy who understands the style of the work of the technique of Blockchain and Bitcoin BTC will be absolutely sure that the next alternative to the classical system is the digital currencies, which by their characteristics (speed - privacy - lack of costs - decentralization of the system ...) The foundations of political economy in all its schools, from Aristotle and Ibn Khaldun to Marx, Adam Smith and Keynes and finally with Friedman. These scholars, who laid the foundations of economic thought through money supply, can control the economy of countries and their economic policy.
In my opinion, Noble In the economy of this great invention that will change humanity and will throw our lives upside down in so-called Internet value ..........

People are afraid because they judge bitcoins based on past online scams that have fooled people. If people read about the concept and technology behind bitcoins, they will loose all the fear they have. Also, old people have less risk taking capabilities.

I think they are afraid because they think bitcoin scams, they think bitcoin is fun. Bitcoin will have a negative impact on the country's economy, and they think such anarchy will arise in the country. Because they have no knowledge about bitcoin.

This question makes me think of a question Andreas Antonapoulos was asked about if he enjoys engaging in debate with any of his biggest pundits.  He basically describes his pundits as either not being intellectual aware and open and that for many it goes against there core political beliefs.  He states..."I think many of the intellectually honest people eventually stop being critics, because they suddenly realize that the flaws they are identifying are temporary features, issues, and not inherent problems. There are very few inherent problems in a dynamically evolving design or ecosystem of different designs all competing, that cannot be resolved.  There are critics who criticize this technology primarily based on their world view.   It is politically inconsistent with their world view.  It’s not that they do not like the technology it’s that they do not like the implications of this technology and the primary criticism you get then is “this should not be” to which all I can answer is ..and yet it is.  “but we mustn’t”… and yet we did, “but you shouldn’t”.. but yet we did".

The volatility gives people reason to be afraid.  There's also a lot of concern over people manipulating the currency or governments causing difficulty with using it.

Those who have a sense of fear are the ones who buy Bitquin for a quick profit only and they do not have full knowledge of Pitcone only they buy for profit but those who know the value of the Pitcuin and importance do not feel this feeling and they keep it so far and this is not a drop in profits only

Government  dont benefit from it so why do you think they will support it. Bitcoins taken over the global currency will cause government economic policies to collapse that is why they are afraid to let it  replace our traditional currencies.

Agree some Evil Bankers wanted to take control in the entire economy they just want to control people by their own greed, that's why they are afraid that bitcoin will absolutely overtake the entire market merchants. That's how they challenge bitcoin. Even though they will ban bitcoin still bitcoin will remain the same and won't leave us. Bitcon is going to change the life style of every single man in the planet.

Bitcoin has nothing to be afraid of, because is the leader of all coin, BTC is the strongest coin that can not understand the secret of the movement and has future use, and many more in exchange in market. Bitcoin walk with a high potential and we investors need to be strong and invest more to get in moon.

I don't get the idea that the general population is in fear or are really afraid of bitcoins in fact i think they would willingly accept it however the issue is this the persons in authority that they "look up to" are telling them to be afraid of it ,and so they have become afraid or fearsome of it  if you were to ask them why they would probably answer because its a scam, if you were to press further as to why they were of this opinion they would tell you because that's what they have been told but they themselves have done no research into the matter. The normal man isn't fearful of bitcoins in fact he views it as a way of breaking the cycle of poverty if he is in one ,he sees it as a liberating force and its precisely for this reason why the powers that be are in fear of bitcoins because should it become widely accepted and people educated then that monetary control that they exert on us would be severely diminished . imagine if you able to get funding trough bitcoins to start a business and bypass a bank imagine the major power shift that would occur. The powers that be are the ones in fear of bitcoins and there reasons are not because they are concerned about us , there reasons are rooted in self interest and self preservation.

The ignorance of what is Bitcoin, and what is its blockchain technology, make this students and a lot of other people afraid of Bitcoin. Also the most part of Media platforms around the world still fighting Bitcoin and spreading bad and wrong infos about it, in addition with the effort of governments and banks to ban btc or illegalize it at least.

I'm not so sure that anyone is afraid of bitcoin. It is more likely they are afraid of the consequences of what it is capable of bringing - governments are talking more and more about regulation to deal with the knock on effects in the black market and criminal activity in general.

Why even be afraid of bitcoin, if your goal is to achieve wealth, wealth, freedom and independence. In this case, you need to learn from bitcoin and other digital currencies. Huh

Again, everything rests on money, bankers are afraid that people, bypassing banks, will be able to carry out monetary back-ups and they will suffer losses, so they fear bitcoin.
