Ethereum is not the future. Currently, I only admit that Bitcoin is the future. Ethereum suffered an unprecedented blow in 2018, investors were hurt, Ethereum may be difficult to recover, ICO projects can not return to normal prices if they can not return to normal Ethereum.

Ethereum will never be as good as Bitcoin, but it will stay alive. I do not know what is the lowest price point for this altcoin. Nevertheless, even if it is less than 50 dollars, even in this case ETH will not die.
