Good that there is such a project.
My friends and I are going to participate.
What did you like about this project?
Please tell me a bit about this.
Well, firstly the developers created a very convenient project. I think that even a beginner will understand this.
Secondly, they care about users.
Yes, I also appreciated the interface.
What did you mean when you said that developers care about users?
I talked about security. Here, the user can not worry about the safety of their data.
The developers solved this problem.
That's cool. At present it is a rarity.
In other projects, there is no such thing. Therefore, this project is unique.

Yes it is. We should now benefit from the project.
Otherwise, later it will be too late to do it.

…what the hell are those member accounts quoting each other and rambling nonsense general statements? This looks extremely weird and unnatural. Smells bad…

Hey dev team,

I've checked you block explorer from time to time and it looks as if in the last few days, a huge number of new addresses were generated. It's still going on right now:

Do you have any insights as to what is happening here?

I noticed you reduced the amount of "play-around-tokens" from 0.49 to 0.09 as well, was that in response to the current behavior?

Hello!
Due to the great demand for the ADM token, we decided to limit the number of bonus tokens. This is enough to just try how the system works. This will also allow more participants to get bonus tokens.

Thanks for the reply.

I think you misunderstood me. Looking at the amount of new addresses created, it looks like someone is creating them automatically, don't you think? I mean, in the time all these addresses were generated, you only had a few, if any ICO contributions. You must think something is going on as well, don't you?

I was wondering if you have any theory or insight as to what is happening there. I initially assumed someone wanted to get enough addresses with 0.49 ADM that with the next 5% increase, they could collect the 0.048 ADM of thousands of addresses (and this, I assume, is why you lowered the free amount given), but it went on after lowering the free amount…
Hello!
from whitepapier:

«ADAMANT Grows»
To make ADM tokens even more valuable, all the dedicated for the ICO campaign tokens
being unsold will be distributed among the actual ADM owners — their wallet balances
will proportionally grow by 5% monthly for an estimate period of a one year after the ICO
ends up.
As far as ADM is an Utility-token which is used to maintain the network infrastructure, the
ADAMANT Grows system is only aimed to protect the conceptual system aspect and not
suitable for gaining profits.
This distribution will be eventually stopped with the ICO wallet depletion.
Therefore, the earlier you’ll support ADAMANT, and the longer you’ll hold your tokens, the
more “grow”-bonuses you’ll get.
● Distribution beginning: 04/11/2018
● Distribution period: monthly
● Growth percent: 5%
● Distribution closure: eventually with ICO wallet depletion.
These wallets do not participate in token distribution campaign:
1. All initial system wallets (ICO, investors rewards, Adoption, reserve wallets);
2. Wallets with their balance being less than 10 ADM tokens.
The information about each distribution round details is open (hence will be published on
an official website) and all growth transactions are visible through the ADAMANT
Explorer.

+We change the system of issuing free tokens.

This is absolutely not an answer to the question I asked and from the way you answered, I have the feeling that you don't want to give an answer.

Add to that the fact that you can't check individual addresses in the block explorer at the moment and it's starting to look fishy as hell.

You should differ Blockchain and sending Free tokens to users.

Blockchain is independent and we have no control on its operation.

Sending Free tokens to users is up to ADAMANT team, and we decide who and how will receive free tokens to try Messenger.
As we see there are abusive exploitations, we are rebuilding it now.

They used botnets to create accounts massively.
Not a problem, but we want Bounty tokens will spread around the users, not bots. THat's it.

Your english is fine Smiley
Thanks for confirming what I thought this was.

Look, I don't want to come over as demanding or condescending, but can I just say, if stuff like that is going on, it is a good idea to actively communicate it.

1.: Things like that look weird and if you don't say anything, people might suspect you are involved in some way.

2.: You want quite some money from "us", so you have an obligation to communicate to "us" what is going on.

3.: It actually makes you look good Smiley "Yeah, someone tried to attack us, but we stopped it, no big deal" --> Cool as fuck.

Might I just ask, when will you enable checking single addresses on the block explorer again? And why did you disable it in the first place?

Explorer is down now becouse of hoster provider, that is the reason you can't see fresh blocks.
Now we are deploying explorer with a mirror for more stability.
If you or someone wish to deploy own ADM explorer — welcome, all sources are available.

We have updated the free tokens issuing mechanism for testing the ADAMANT Messenger, this was done to eliminate possible violations. Amount of free tokens was decreased from 0.49 ADM to 0.09 ADM. Only real users get tokens, not bots.

That comparison against other product shows huge potential for this messaging platform if the promised tech is delivered in presented way. This the industry which still have huge space of growth for every project which ensures real privacy and security of data.

Hey, sorry for being annoying, but what is Adamant's stance on metadata? For now, while the message itself is encrypted, it is very visible which addresses interact with each other. Are there plans to change this in the future?

It could be possible to have a type of "super-stealth message", where it is visible that a message was sent, but not to whom.

The system would be quite simple: omit the receiving address completely. The receive will download all new blocks and just go through all transaction, trying to decrypt them. If they have the private key, they will be able to successfully decrypt the message addressed at them, if not, nothing happens.

This would solve quite a few problems:

- Someone watching traffic and the blockchain can only see that an address sent a message, but not to whom.

- Since the receiving party is forced to download complete blocks*, a spy cannot conclusively link sender and receiver together.

*Of course, this has it's holes as well. For example, if I watch an entity downloading blocks and they suddenly stop, I can safely assume that the message directed at them was in the last few blocks. This problem is amplified by Adamants extremely short block times, especially when few people are using the system.
One solution would be to have the clients always sync completely, no matter what, but this could still make correlations visible.
Another solution could be to have dedicated "super-stealth blocks", meaning, "super-stealth-messages" are collected over a certain time and are written in a block that occurs every few hours, or maybe even only once a day. After all, the bigger the pool of messages, the harder it is to link two entities. This solution would obviously hve the problem, that an attacker could fill the super-stealth blocks in a way, that all but a few messages in the block belong to them. The few remaining can be correlated to the receiver, if they only download up to a certain block height.

Still, I think decoupling theye parts, somewhat making the metadate as inconclusive as possible is important for a good privacy focussed messenger.

We've thought about it, yes.

It is one of alternatives.

ADAMANT is the first one real blockchain messenger. So what we did it testes the concept.
All the sweets will be later.
