What is ‘Key-Value Store’ in ADAMANT and How Is It Used to Store Contact Names?

Earlier, we announced the development of a new mechanism for storing contact data (KVS) in blockchain and a new transaction type, we have already implemented these innovations in the ADAMANT Blockchain version 0.2.0.
KVS (key-value store) is a way to store information, both public and private (secure), where examples are public Ethereum addresses and private Address books.
Now, we’ve updated the Messenger application to version 1.4.0, so you’re now able to use new functionality — to rename a contact, click a header with the ADAMANT address in-chat.
Also — many small improvements and fixes.
Try it yourself: msg.adamant.im. Make sure you are using the latest version of the application (settings tab at the bottom). Clear your browser’s cache if this is not the case.

Fair Delegate System in dPoS

After publishing the article “DPoS Explained — Simply”, and giving instructions on node deployment, we have received an extensive array of feedback from the community and delegates in-regards to the ADAMANT network. Since decentralization is a critical attribute of ADAMANT, our team has assessed the possible improvements within the system, quiet specifically the experience of our fellow Lisk colleagues.
How much do you consider Lisk to be decentralized? To become a Lisk delegate, you must attain 29 million tokens worth of votes — this is currently equal to 145,000,000 USD in LSK tokens. Furthermore, over 1,600 delegates in the Lisk Network have been forever suspended into Standby mode.

Web application design update (app version 1.5.0)

The ADAMANT team made a great work on the web application—it was updated to version 1.5.0.
