So I got the site to load at 5 pm MST on the dot, added to cart and it was sold out in the few seconds it took the page to reload.
How does a batch of miners sell out in seconds? How do people check out that fast?!
Can one of those massive mining farms in China spare some used miners? How about they donate a used old batch to the forum? In the spirit of decentralization.
I'd be happy to get ONE. To MINE with, make a little money and support crypto, not resell for absurd amounts.
I'm not into crying but trying to get a hold of a miner is bringing me there!

Now it just said the unit was removed from my cart because i did not pat fast enough.
I think the dev who worked on the site is sitting in a bar laughing right now.
It's a rather horrendous reserving and ordering system |

I got to the payment page and then it said sorry, no longer available!
It would make WAY more sense if once you get it in your cart, you have that one reserved. Why all the frustration with getting people to checkout only to pull the plug?

IMO, if it is going to be like this from here on out, they should set up a lottery system where you know a few days in advance if you're gonna get one or not. Then, when they go on sale, give people like 10 minutes to check out. If you don't check out in 10 minutes, the rest go back on the market and sell first come first serve. I get rewarding people who get there first, but in this case we were all there within a second of each other. They are either going to people using bots or it's just dumb luck. If nothing else, it would make life easier for Blokforge if 10,000 people weren't constantly refreshing the page.

I totally missed that they put up a few for sale for the members of the forum yesterday. I didn't check yesterday and I missed that too. I hate to say it but I ended up buying an s9 and until I get those I'm running a 741. I will see what the 741 is reselling for in march and consider selling it and use that money to try to get an 821. I'm hoping the 821s will be easier to get by then.
