They are not just cashing out for the holidays.
It's year end, people are cashing out on their profits during the year.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I think that a lot of people are cashing out for the holidays and for the end of the year. But there are also a lot of bulls that are waiting for the BTC price to hit 10,000$ to get in the market.

Currencies are going down because it's the end of the year and people are cashing out for holidays and else... I'm confident it will go back up even higher in 2018.

Just noticed a sudden drop in all the top cryptos, is there a large cash out for fiat in progress??
Yes, never trust the total worth in the crypto market. Every order has a price and not like it could stay at XX$ at all time.

Yes because some are using it for the Christmas holidays and of course wanted to buy gifts for the family so they are mostly cashing out, but for those who have extra money I'm preety sure they are cashing in while bitcoins price went down.

Nothing to worry much about, just folks talking out their money to celebrate time during Christmas with their families. Happens every year, but over all we are in a bullish momentum right now.

This is an isolated case because people need money for their christmas and holiday season needs therefore we expect more of this until the new years eve in which we need paper money to buy, to give and to celebrate these occations. Next month for sure everything will be back to normal hoarding.

Yes, it's every year, usually a rise is commencing a few days before New Year, feels a bit like a new investment year starts.  And the presents are in so, fresh money.  The Christmas period usually sees a drop, was anticipating it with funds on USDT, but couldn't wait one more day, so now have to wait it out with my funds already in Altcoins.

Yeah probably. It's the Holidays season! Everyone and their mother wants a nice, festive Christmas and New Year's Eve with lots of food, booze and parties! And that means some serious cash is needed. So, time to cash in them hard earned money to do just that and buy yourself that special something you've always wanted. That's what I think anyway.

Not everyone is cashing out. Some whales did, that could be the main reason the price dropped. But then the price increased again, so maybe new buyers stepped in. The price drop has nothing to do with Christmas or at least it's not that much. Prices go up and down, especially with the high volatility of Bitcoin.

I think its safe to say that a lot of people are cashing out for Christmas spending including myself.  It could be the reason of the drop of bitcoin nd the other altcoins.  I was fortunate to have cash out when bitcoin was at its peak,  before the drop.

because of the holidays happening bitcoin price go down but when it hit the lowest price people trying to get profit by buying bitcoin with the low price Simultaneously. Sooner bitcoin will go up then this is the to change to fiat.

No, not everyone but a lot and it is obviously because of the Christmas holiday which was already anticipated by the most. This dip is just normal, I mean year-end usually make a big impact on BTC price rally since a lot of people will cash out and a lot also take their profit for holding it or other altcoins for a year wherein they see holiday season is the best time for taking your profit regardless of what will be the price of as long as you made a profit from what you had invested.

Now is a bad time to sell right?

Im sure many people wish they sell before the dips but its hard to tell when that will happen.

Those people who think that the price of crypto-currency will down already cash out/trade their money for sure needs in this christmas and new year. And those who have no idea that it is time to spend money have no choice to sell in low price ( like what happen in the market now ) or choice to hold their money and wait to rise again. A big dump happen in bitcoin (top currency), it means that they preparing for the big event around the world that money are involve.

many people who holds bitcoin and other altcoins cash out since it is christmas holidays. Because of this, the price of bitcoin went down. I think it is just normal because they earned the money they get from the start and it is a year-ender for them to collect and cash out all the money they have earned.
