Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

I think so too.  Already 2 weeks the price of eth is growing twice as fast as btc.  And in 2-3 years I think they will cost the same.

many investor believe that ethereum will overcome bitcoin. but ethereum is just an altcoin, the leading altcoin in the market as of today, but bitcoin is not an altcoin, it is nothing to compare to any other altcoins.

These cryptocurrencies are so different that I cannot even understand how they can compete. Probably, if more people believe in Ethereum, its market capitalization will be bigger than Bitcoin market cap.

Very controversial. No one can answer that question .bitcoin is now the top 1, and Ethereum is the top 2 ,but will it be able to approach capitalization ,at the price of 1 coin ? no one will answer that question. I don't think that's possible.

I have to totally disagree with you here. Ethereum is the best alt coin for me aswell and i really support it but we have to be realistic here. Chances of bitcoin getting overtaken by any coin is zero. I really appreciate how ethereum helping the crypto community but the blockchain tech is designed to be centered by bitcoin.

I don't think this is a possibility, because Ethereum's currency price has always been followed by Bitcoin's currency price, and Ethereum's price is very different from Bitcoin's price, so I don't think Ethereum can overtake Bitcoin. .

No it will never happen.bitcoin supply is 21millions and 1 of them never move,etherium supply is almost 100 millions and unlimited mining.So it is easy to see which coin is more precious.

I don't think that Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin. It takes a lot of time when that will happen. Remember bitcoin is most and best well-known cryptocurrency in the world and Ethereum is just next to Bitcoin and the difference there values are very far from each other.

This one of the predictions I can say is not gonna happen. Bitcoin is still the king of the space and I see it remaining there for a very long time. It has passed several tests and have proven to be the father of all coins. I don't see any altcoin overtaking it. Not now.

Maybe if more websites accept ETH payments ETH can be num 1 crypto. Until now, ETH is good for smart contract and icos investments but still not very accepted as a payment method.

I think ETH has a lot of advantages in its tank to increase. However, although ETH has shown great endurance and strength in the way it has grown and from the manner it was able to withstood market movements, I suppose that BTC is always be the number one.
