Probably not, no one bothered for their previous scams. I guess they were testing the waters with smaller scale scams before going all in big there is a learning curve to it you know plus the BTC price appreciation is not helping the scammers either

You are demented. I am thinking a one way trip to the local psych ward is the only place you should be travelling.

You are demented. I am thinking a one way trip to the local psych ward is the only place you should be travelling. You should be appreciating me. You will need me some day to deal with the Activemining bullshit as well. You are dillusional if you think you will profit from this scammy industry of btc mining startups. Those days are over. We try to justify our optimistic feelings with the fact there was ONE success -- that being Friedcat. There will never be another FC, so wake the fuck up. If anyone knows me, they will know I'm crazy enough to do something about this. So... $5,000 will cover expenses, and leftover funds will be returned. You can send funds to me directly, or set this up through another trusting party, someone who will buy my tickets, hotel, meals, etc. Some of the money could be used for bribing purposes, a couple italians come to mind who might know of his whereabouts. I suggest any new leads remain secret to keep the strategy low key, and to be used by me only (and the other trusted party if need be)

Ok. While it's nice of you to take the time to compliment me on my expand/contract skills, that wasn't really the point of my post. I posted it in case it might be relevant to the discussion, that Labcoin has recently posted on the forum and deleted his post.
If I'm wrong, then please feel free to point out where,
Cheers

I don't think it is true, and as a non-LC shareholder I don't really want to spend money on that. But this is what needs to happen. you dont think what is true?

Some were calling it early, but the problem is they scream that about every single security that comes out. but reading the earlier posts you see just how much TheSwede was involved and pushing the company to the max. I think without his PR efforts no one would've fallen for the scam (an italian guy speaking in broken english who can't answer any question directly). Makes me a bit sick. Now TheSwede will walk away with no punishment. Everything worked in Labcoin's favor, the scam was executed perfectly.

the problem is they scream that about every single security that comes out. They'd have been right about ~95% of the time. Now TheSwede will walk away with no punishment. THat actually remains to be seen. At least under SEC regulations: It shall be unlawful for any person, by the use of any means or instruments of transportation or communication in interstate commerce or by the use of the mails, to publish, give publicity to, or circulate any notice, circular, advertisement, newspaper, article, letter, investment service, or communication which, though not purporting to offer a security for sale, describes such security for a consideration received or to be received, directly or indirectly, from an issuer, underwriter, or dealer, without fully disclosing the receipt, whether past or prospective, of such consideration and the amount thereof.http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/15/77qIIRC theswede didnt disclose the shares he was offered initially, did he? Even more damning is this: (b) Prosecution of persons who aid and abet violations For purposes of any action brought by the Commission under subparagraph (b) or (d) of section 77t of this title, any person that knowingly or recklessly provides substantial assistance to another person in violation of a provision of this subchapter, or of any rule or regulation issued under this subchapter, shall be deemed to be in violation of such provision to the same extent as the person to whom such assistance is provided.http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/15/77oIts going to be pretty hard for theswede to argue he did not provide "substantial assistance", and did not do so "recklessly". After all, even if he didnt know it was a scam, he should have known it was an unregistered security offered in the US (and everywhere else) and thereby illegal.
