They gave no warning. IPO shares started selling at 1:50 AM in US - they said they would start during US Business day.

It was a mistake - I wasn't familiar with how the pre-bid worked. I though no bids could be placed until they were ready to sell.

Please give a full 24 hours before unlocking the IPO to allow time to transfer BTC into the exchange. if orders do indeed fill 'auction style' from the highest bidder down, allowing time for everyone to place their bids competitively will help the company raise more funds and give everyone a chance to buy shares.

There is nothing special about the initial ask an issuer makes in their IPO.  Thus the bids will get filled auction style, first by price, then at each price by whomever got their order in soonest.
I understand there are questions around the fairness of this, but I don't have time to rewrite anything special.
It seems to me that this method of filling the ask is in the best interest of the company filling the IPO anyway?

I would like to see a sell order of 7,000,000 shares @0.001 on the Asks side right from the beginning.

First congratulations on passing through btct so quickly, second I am looking forward to the release.
By the looks of the btct order log it won't take long until the 7000 btc mark is reached and it has already passed the minimum 4000 btc point.

As a note
Orders at the IPO price will be filled but it is possible that the latest orders will not be depending on when the 24 hours have passed and the volume we have already prepare accordingly to make certain your price is secured.

Phew, thank goodness I rolled out of bed and checked these forums. I think I have got my bid in place at the regular IPO price.. lets hope it is first come first serve, not just from the top down.

Higher price first, then on same price first come first serve.

Good communication, quick response, clear explanation, and maybe nice and neat formatting in Contract & Prospectus section

This could be a fun day. Everyone watching that btct page with itchy fingers.... Embarrassed

...growing bid war, don't miss out, OMG 2x IPO price, 3x, 5x wild tulip mania... Shocked

...then maybe some good news from Friedcat or Ken draws attention away... Smiley

...notice bids falling fast, OMG get out now, panic, crash, no bids left... Cry

...all before the IPO opens! Grin

Survey: As an individual, what do you most like about LabCoin?

AM has been starting to see a bunch of possible competitors if one of the set succeeds the valuation of the subgroup will need to be re-evaluated what company it will be is not certain however it is important to keep track of them all.

EDIT: What do I most like about Labcoin should reply to that well if they can hash it will bring about interesting changes in the bitcoin market and petahashing will be possible soon.
