Thanks for the correction all. I will keep an eye on BTC-TC, and I'll dig through this thread to check when the asks are timed for release.

Would have been nice to have bids frozen before the asks released, but from LabCoins perspective this is going to be great for them. In any case, like others I think this is going to be very interesting... the bubble might hit before the IPO is even out, and the trick is to buy shares once it crashes after opening... hmm.. decisions...

This security is causing both ActM and AM to crash as people move their funds from one security to another. I think the smarter move may be to invest in AM/ActM while everyone else does the opposite and fights for IPO shares  Shocked

Survey: As an individual, what do you most like about LabCoin?

AM has been starting to see a bunch of possible competitors if one of the set succeeds the valuation of the subgroup will need to be re-evaluated what company it will be is not certain however it is important to keep track of them all.

EDIT: What do I most like about Labcoin should reply to that well if they can hash it will bring about interesting changes in the bitcoin market and petahashing will be possible soon.

Congratulation, you just won an Apnea Award™.

What exactly is supposed to be smart about investing in an asset with a price destined to decrease rather than assets with the potential for 10x and 100x increases?

ActM is still a good investment, but AM has hit its peak and will drop back into the 3.x range due to competition.

Not to discredit the potential of Labcoin, but the community response to this IPO reminds me an awful lot of behaviour in the alt coin forum when a new coin pops up... especially the likes of feathercoin and chinacoin

The idea behind this is to be one step ahead. While everyone is buying LABCOIN other shares are cheaper. When LABCOIN is high and people begin to cash out and invest in other shares, you may want to be in the position already holding them.

It is not predicatable when the approval votes come in and thus the issuer would have to be 24/7 ready. Well,.. and I think such a high demand wasn't predictable either. Or let me rephrase: this is (imho) the first time, something like this happend in such a degree. Cheesy

Alt coin behavior is spreading. You should see the ActiveMining price manipulation lately, especially on BitFunder.

Bump. I did not manage to sell my ACTM shares in the high time, and now I cannot buy Labcoin. I was thinking: "Don't be greedy, you made 400% in 2 weeks, sell!".

Are you getting an error message?
