There's no logical reason for that. It seems that speculators and investors in labcoin have an extremely short attention span. It may be the sheer quantity of shares put there, but I'm not sure. I expect the price to drift off a bit until the big announcements start coming in early Sep. And everyone will lose their minds if LC doesn't issue a div in early Sep; THAT will be the time to get cheap shares. |

The recent ipos have put more shares than the current crop of investors can handle. If you watch the live view, you can see money sloshing from one stock to another, chasing short term trend. If there were more investors that wouldn't matter, the slack would be taken up. But I think they've outstripped the base for the moment. |

I think thats because people missed the boat with i.e asicminer-pt shares. And now dont know what to do/take/invest on what will make money for them, so they daytrade for the small profits. Indeed short attention span. This will soon be over when labcoin grows as company. There will be a run on shares; but than again it will be to late for them. Buy and hold  |

Yes, they will most likely receive their first test run chips shortly and at that time we will see if they will be able to achieve their claimed 10x performance advantage to everyone else that has made 130nm/110nm chips. If they do, the chip will be 2x faster compared to BitFury's 55nm chip (!), even as Labcoin has refered to their IC design to be based on same ideas at BitFury's.. (developer used to work with some of the guys from Labcoin team) What do you think its going to do to the stock price if it turns out their chips is only capable of 20% or 10% of claimed performance.. In other words delivering a chip that just slightly edges what others took to market 6 months ago? No one ever went broke taking profits. |

Huh, why does it matter when they started their work if they still haven’t delivered anything yet?  They started with a 180nm chip which they recently switched to 130nm.. In my post above I was referring to Avalon and ASICMiner who has delivered a ton of 110nm/130nm chips the last 6 months. |

It should still go up then. The price is still way too low even if they get underperforming chips. That's my opinion at least. |
