I don't understand why we had to wait for days to even get that picture.
Did they just get the boards?

If they had an assembled board they would have shown a picture of it.
It's very, very simple.
They don't have one.
Explain the missing chips in the picture below: Explain the missing photo of an assembled board. That's easy. They never took such a photo. Now explain the missing chips. they unpacked them but what does this proof? your ignorance is great, buddy. Well, now you admit that the hardware exists, we can progress. As a rational person, the next logical step would be to assemble that hardware to mine with, which if you think about it, is the most plausible explanation for chips being missing from the tray. With that in mind, it lends supports to the claim that Labcoin are mining with 2 Th/s. Each tray holds 160 chips by my count and it's highly probable that Labcoin have more than a single tray.

the most plausible explanation would be that if they were truly mining, they could give a mining address, stamp a block, or prove it in some way, especially since the "announcement" was meant to prove their hashing claim.

Question: What do you think of the people that buy cointerra, hashfast? no nothing but pay big bucks!
Labcoin did not take pre-orders they went for shares..

Yes. And since they haven't done so, the logical conclusion is that they lack the ability to do so.

Yes. And since they haven't done so, the logical conclusion is that they lack the ability to do so. They claim to be hashing with 2 Th/s and you have no evidence to prove otherwise, just an opinion. An opinion based on ignoring the fact that those missing chips are likely mining away right now.

I'm going to stay right here. And say it again- They are not hashing. They have nothing online. They do not have an assembled board.

They just said 2TH but not 100% up time need tweaks. I'm perfectly fine holding on to LC. I do admit they need some PR lessons but things aren't looking too well on AM also. I own both AM and LC.

All I see here in these pictures (both) are a single faced PCB, with no visible core vias, a grid of chip pads and what seems to be a bigger SMD pad like a capacitor or resistor. Only the SMD component seems to have visible vias which go and fill completely the connection pads at the end of the board. So the chip pads don't seem to connect to anything, and there is only one side shown in both pictures. It is also quite fascinating to see such simple boards where all the connection pins are routed to a single SMD component, WHICH is not actually connected on the other side to anything else. Without seeing the other side, I assume they wanted this to fool people into thinking they have some kind of pluggable/multiplex design (with a connector raised so high and needing manual soldering on each pad for power), but where is the grounding and the logic connector? Sure, it makes sense to have separate power lines and power wires for each chip, as each one could usemaybe tens of watts of power and you need those amps to flow. What about those bulky chips? How do they dissipate tens of watts of power that require individual power lines? Why are they so simple? Why do they have so little pins? Where the hell are the 128 pins from the image posted on the first post? What you see in that picture is the equivalent of a stack of left side tires and several engine cylinders being presented as a state of the art automobile! Am I missing something? Are you guys still believing this crap forgery represents actual chips capable of "4.7 GH/s @ 12.8W"? Well, now you admit that the hardware exists, we can progress.
They have chips and boards.
I have no idea if they can be assembled into a working miner because they have not done so.
So no, I don't know if the hardware is legit.
Thanks for reminding me of the possibility they aren't.
Apparently it worked for these two guys...

notice that they didn't make that claim last night. In fact, they didn't mention ANYTHING about the supposedly 2 TH/s, even thought that is what the whole update was supposed to be about. And they have not provided ANY evidence to suggest that claim is true. They have, however, given us a lot of information that suggests it is untrue.

If that's possible, then clearly it's illogical to insist that Labcoin are definitely not mining. The missing chips from the tray suggest that some miners have been assembled.

This is incorrect, see above.

if a pig had wings, it could fly... it is logical to insist that they are not mining, when there is absolutely no evidence to suggest they are mining.
