thats not good, i mean the wallet is fine that means it has no coins stuck. Is this the wallet that originally had the coins, or is it a new one? dude, i have extensive time dealing with this problem. its a windows 7 issue that has nothing to do with coins being stuck. just certain tx hashes freeze wallets from time to time on windows 7. i've found that i can import them on windows xp sp 1 with no problem. trick works on vista too. haven't tried windows 8 yet. worth a shot. I just wanted to help... do you have win xp or vista machine?(or virtual machine if you are on linuz?)

additional data. The transaction was between client 1.0 and client 1.2 without being synced.
if I use old wallet, the transaction id is e916fe7bde22e43a87c3b4f9222d512629f16cb80473f5e2a6726afb82841cdc , but it has 0 confirms.
Maybe this is clue to you?
did you somehow lower the transaction fee paid... that can slow or lock the transaction as few servers want to take low transaction fees to process a trans into a block. digeros

Im on a mac atm, without any vpc I did have a similar issue on linux, with a wallet that was on the rigth chain, but then it forked and had tx on the wrong one. I fixed it using on a clean client on main fork.

Well on the old wallet, back it up, and then type this in console: and post results

thats not good, i mean the wallet is fine that means it has no coins stuck. Is this the wallet that originally had the coins, or is it a new one? I had a problem with my wallet that it would display only the same old bad TXs on the front. I used rescan and salvagewallet and it fixed everything and I don't think I lost coins, (repairwallet lost a few). BUT, it deleted all my addresses. I had to create new addresses, and then change them in the pools. Any coins sent to the old deleted addresses would probably be sent to another dimension. So after you work on the wallet, make sure your receive addy's are still there. If you send coins, you lose the 5 day stakery.

windows? I have 1.1 As Molitor said, I need version 1.0 to fix my wallet no you don't, just download pywallet, install it. run it. go to the dump transactions page. switch from the bitcoin directory to philosopherstone directory, dump the tx's then run philosopherstone with --rescan option. problem solved

Anyone can share me version 1.0 client ?
This contains version Windows Binaries for 1.0 and 1.1. Version 1.1 says 1.0 in the about box. There are clickable shortcuts for rescan and salvagewallet, don't use them unless you know what you're doing. These are the files as I received them from the original download posted in good faith, YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY for ANYTHING that goes wrong. https://mega.co.nz/#fmbRsHiKSQI will update the original post so there's a single link to send people to.

Somewhat odd, but the 1.1 files on github (if you build em) actually show 1.1 in about box, wonder if this has anything to do with the forks? if you want to try to build em or I can send you the windows 1.1 bin to test out and compare with your 1.0

By reading the messages here I am getting lost... from the version 1.2 code it seems a time-based switch. So 1.2 and 1.0/1.1 should be the same before the switch point. Why we should sync 1.0 then 1.2? Is the "good" chain not following the 1.2 strictly? in which case we should either ask dev or someone can just compile a good client (since the code is public source)...
I am trying to sync with 1.2 only and theoretically it should work?
