I advice invest your eth to bitcoin. Recent days we saw good movement of bitcoin price while eth only make a little price change. So it is wiser to invest in bitcoin at this time. Remember "ber" months is coming and this is the peak season for bitcoin.

In my opinion, the guy should do something opposite. There are many really good cheap altcoins that will bring the better profit than 1 Ethereum. Take, for instance, Stellar, Cardano, IOTA, TRON, Gladius.

To be honest , I do not see any point in holding 1 ETH, it is better to try to invest in an Ico and if successful, you can increase your capital several times

Yes. The reason being, Ethereum is just coming into the mainstream there are millions of people yet to discover the power of Ethereum.
They also have to make technology upgrades in the coming year or two. At that point Ethereum can become everything it promises to be.
It is lead by the Ethereum Foundation, which seems like a much more stable and visionary version of the Bitcoin equivalent.
I like the idea of holding Ethereum for 2 years+

This is my strategy for that, the 50% of my ethereum funds is for hold and the other 50% of my funds I will buy some altcoin for short term profits but review first the project before buying it and most likely the coin that has more potential to have a profit is on the coin that has own blockchain and also for those tokens that has a plan to have their own blockchain.

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

It is good to buy ETH now where market price is relatively cheaper compared to last month or previous month of crypto market price. If you still had a money and eyeing for investment now is the right time to do it. Just be patience with it because as we all know that it could undergone some rough times like the market price fall down.

If I were you, I would diversify my assets. I would buy altcoins for one half and hold the other one. Because Ethereum is a great coin and have a lot of potential and also there are some other worthy coins which can go up in price.

Yeah you the option to hold or invest it with another altcoin that you think it has a good potentials to go higher especially if that token is being listed on one of the good exchanges for crypto. As we all know that exchanges will matter in terms of raising for the crypto demand and binance is one of the good exchanges for crypto.

Almost everyone is talking about Bitcoin because it can be said that Bitcoin represents the whole world of electronic money, and the most obvious proof is that Bitcoin's horrific shock last November made the Altcoin board redone blood color. It seems that everyone forgets Ethereum with smart contracts.
So I think you should keep ETH.

sometimes it's all right, but we have to be smart in running the uses of bitcoin and ethereum. just as we choose to save bitcoin or ethereum is the same but only has a difference in price, it is true that ethereum has a smart contact in the world of cryptocurrency but must be careful when experiencing a decline like now.

For me, altcoins can give more profit than the same ether, but the ether is more reliable, so you see for yourself. I suggest you to buy some alts with it. Use it to buy atleast 5 different alts.

You need to do what is best for you. With the current downtrend in this market, it's best to hold on to your Etherum rather than using it buy other altcoins that would still lose more value. Etherum is a good coin and would surely rise to a reasonable state

Try to split it ... Leave half the etherium, and put the rest in cheap, but promising coins in your opinion!

It is really up to you. In my opinion, you can split it up. But you must analyze the altcoin that you're going to invest to because that coin may dump it's price and you will lose your money.

If you want to earn then you will have to take risks. Otherwise, big money does not work anywhere. If you do not learn to lose, and you do not take it easy, you will not earn much. Determine what is more important for you, earn a little, well, or all or nothing.

I think you should divide it into two. You should buy altcoins half of it and hold the other half. Right now ethereum is very down, it would be practical to hold it for a while. Selling it might give you great loss. You should look for some potential altcoins out there and buy it in a lower price. In that case you can maximize your earnings.
