It is always best not to keep all your eggs in one basket. So diversify you portfolio

That's the best strategy of all successful people, they diversify their investment because if they put all their money in a single kind of investment the risk is 100% and you lose all your fund if the market drop down.

If you chose the right altcoin/token, then it can give you much higher returns when compared to Ethereum. But the reverse is also true. If you chose the wrong coin, then your entire capital can vanish in a matter of few days.

Exactly, much better to choose what token that can give you a profit in the furture, but the best thing to do is diversify, diversify your portfolio and choose the top 10 token that you can invest in.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Aside from the obvious investments, such as Ethereum and bitcoin. There are others. For example NEO and Cardano. They are also advanced representatives of the top crypto-currencies and in any case will gain growth.

Better to keep ETH. If you know of potentially good altcoins besides ETH and they are much cheaper than ETH, I think you can afford to provide their own capital to buy them without having to sell your ETH. Because ETH is more promising to be able to generate big profits, if you sell it then you will lose the golden opportunity.

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

if i were you! i will buy altcoin because it has a greater posibility to gain profit... splitting the ETH to many altcoin would means higher posibility of profit. just make sure that the altcoin you chose has a promising market value.

Yes, of course, I also prefer to hold 1 Ethereum instead of having to buy another Altcoin. I think Ethereum is more profitable than other Altcoin. And I will make Ethereum as my investment asset in the future.

Everyone wants big profits and small risks. But it seems like such a thing will not be paired in cryptocurrency. Maybe if you are not willing to lose all your ethereum, you can divide it in the amount you want on a cheaper altcoin.

If you're willing to take risks invest it into ICO that you think will be successful. But hold on to until the end of the year. There are higher chance that you'll make more profit

Split them and buy some for alts because they are a good option for increasing profit. But before you buy them, make a research to find out about the coins. Make sure they are developing and promising.

For now, the ether market capitalization seems to be quite high. I believe ether will still grow in the future, but probably will not grow 25 times in a short time. So if you want a bigger profit, you might be able to replace the ether with a cheaper altcoin.

I think you should decide what to do with your Etherium . But if you still want to know other opinions , I'd hold him.

Thats a hard one. Actually, one ethereum is att he time worth like 700$. If you would hold it, it would be a safe invest. You can make profit with it, but it couldnt be a 10x. If you would in some altcoin, the potential for a high profit would be much higher. But also the risk. So its on you to decide. When you look at the market right now, you see there will be no altcoin at the moment who could go so strong. But in some weeks or month, the market could totally change again!

Investing in altcoins is always a risk for the exclusion of coins that are included in the top 20 coinmarketcap. This is the best option if you are afraid for your money.

The market is still in a downturn, but Ethereum prices have risen a lot. I think that when Ethereum's price fell to $400, it was a good time to buy it, so now you can choose to wait.

Better split your holdings and diversify your investment to avoid risk. And which is not advisable to put your holdings in one bucket.

My advice is not to keep ETH, because it is already at a high price, and it is possible to continue to grow, but it will not bring you much profit. You can buy some new altcoin with community foundation, and be careful not to take part in ICO, which is likely to make you lose your ETH.

If you do not want to lose, do not invest. But you also do not need to suppose that you seem to be harmed by an increase in an Altcoin that you are interested in.

Go hold it and wait, but it's better if you buy your half eth a altcoin then the half one hold it so you can get some profit.

I suggest you keep the Ethereum you have today.
Ethereum is certainly superior to other Altcoin, I assert Ethereum is more powerful value and Ethereum has a stable price and this is great.
Altcoin is interesting but I'm afraid this is a trap if you sell your Ethereum and buy some altcoin in the meantime, altcoin does not rise in value you will lose, then my suggestion keeps your 1 Ethereum.
