When I had that amount of funds on my wallet then I rather convert it unto altcoins rather than steady it on Ethreum. If the ethereum's price will increase then the profit/s will be constant on how much value added to ethereum's price but if you converted into altcoins there is a big chance that the profits will be doubled or tripled if the altcoins you had buy will increase in price while it is paired with ethereum on crypto markets.

You are not supposed to buy, you can hodl your (1) Ethereum or you can to buy altcoins if you only want to buy it to increase your profits, use at least 25% to buy the top 4 of altcoins and 75% to hodl your ETH until the price rises again, and sell simultaneously when the price rise up.
