2017 is really a good year for bitcoin especially the last quarter this year and the possibility that 2018 is also a good year for bitcoin is open if we change some issue including transaction cost and speed.

I do not understand with hardfork, this does not fix anything, or reduce the density of transaction traffic.
just make everyone happy with new coins. should hadfork be the solution to the speed of cheap Bitcoin transactions and fees.

The time taken by a transaction and the fee that is charged for this service have been problems for a long time now. I also hope that 2018 will do us some good in this regard. Bitcoin is falling down at the moment, I think the first half of the next year will be the same as that of 2017 and the real progress will be made by Bitcoin during the second half. Again we all can be wrong because Bitcoin is totally unpredictable like future.

I hope that in this year 2018 ahead the bitcoin will be widely known and will be adapt by almost all the countries around the world. I am just hoping that this year transaction will become low as to what we are experiencing right now, so that a lot would encouraged to do investment and trading because they will just incur low transaction fee.

Being well known and not being well known makes no sense to me. I like it as it is now, and I believe the population it's okay. If others doesn't want to make use of BTC, you can't force them cause it's all their choice. I've seen some people predicting that Bitcoin will reach the price rate of $50,000 in this 2018. I won't say anything about that as of now, cause this was the same thing that happened in 2016 when some people were saying it will reach $15,000 and I doubted it, but to my surprise it did.

Of course there's no doubt that 2018 will still be the year of bitcoins. However, there will be a lot of altcoins that will challenge bitcoin dominance, like Ripple and Ethereum. But bitcoin will remain the #1 crypto and those who are trying to questions its supremacy will not succeed. As for the price, it could tripled or quadrupled, no one can really tell, but the future will be really bright, but there will be a lot of roadbumps, conflicts but at the end of the day, bitcoin will survive and will go even further. One thing though that I want to see being resolved or at least alleviate the issues is the slow confirmation time and high transaction fees. I'm waiting for Lightning Network to be really implemented so that the price will skyrocketed again. But let's see how it goes, its too early to tell, but I can still see that bitcoin will have a bright future this 2018.

This is truth that in the current time bitcoin is not better for making small Transaction and also to make fast transaction with low fee because we need to spend more than what we need to pay from another coin .
Here I know bitcoin is no more better to have for payment purpose but still I am always with bitcoin only because the main reason behind this factor that I know very well that team.of bitcoin blockchain technology is looking to make something new here ( day by day new new fork are direct indication ) , may be we can face big problem of unconfirmation with bitcoin transaction but still here we should see bitcoin is going to be more better than what another coin are .

truthfully I would still choose that bitcoin is still going to be the year of 2018. that I Think is something thag is still going to be a trend especially that a handful of people are really going to hit it off with how high it went on 2017 and that the real deal

I heard from some pro-investor bitcoin will touch 4x more gain in 2018. In my opinion maybe not that much but it will become more stable and increase a bit not much about 1.5x.

I think I will stick to bitcoins going higher further just like americanpegasus predicted. Even there are lots of new coins that offers more than bitcoin does (in terms of fees and speed). I think most of them will struggle as some says utilization is one of the keys in order for a coin to survive and that what Bitcoin has.
