yeah, i am predicting for ethereum too. maybe with other digital currencies.because i don't know why, but i sense something great will happening in this 2018. very far development of digital currencies will happen. or i hope so.

Ethereum will probably be one of the pick with maybe ripple and some token that might be good pick. Anyway this year is just started but i will go for ethereum to be maybe prime for this year in. Price is good for buying and many indicates that price will go over 2000 and this may be good opportunity to get now while is under this price.

In 2018, bitcoin will give way to a leader in capitalization. I think the first place will be occupied by the etherium, because its platform is more perfect. The bitcoin network also provides more comfortable user experience.

We will call it a year of the altcoins if majority of them wii rise up and maintain their momentum throughout the year with fewer corrections but surpassing bitcoin is still not possible this year.Any altcoin must surpass bitcoin by market capitalization and should sustains its lead as a top coin. Bitcoin might continue to maintain its domination over altcoins for some more years before another stronger coin overtakes it. Many are rooting for ethereum to replace bitcoin in the near future, but it will take many price surges or all-time highs before surpassing bitcoin.

A lot of investors will be happy if bitcoin will be in the number 1 spot, that means it has to price at least 20,000 dollars as that was the ATH of bitcoin. Based on the marketcap, I notice that there are a lot of fresh money coming in to invest, and if bitcoin will continue its downfall, it will not be impossible that it will be replace by Ethereum. |

Ethereum has great potential and a lot of people are supporting it, they consider it as an alternative for bitcoin in which bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies. You're right the year is just starting and there's a lot more that is going to happen this year we just need to be patient and continue to hold. |

Ethereum has great potential and a lot of people are supporting it, they consider it as an alternative for bitcoin in which bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies. You're right the year is just starting and there's a lot more that is going to happen this year we just need to be patient and continue to hold. Now ETH has great potential. But I think you need to pay attention to other projects. For example blockchain 3.0 looks very promising. And striking the project Arcblock. He has the biggest potential and a strong team. |

It will still be Bitcoins year in my humble opinion. But ETH will be close by.
There will be crashes, booms, bear markets and bull markets, but at the end BTC will have an ATH and though overall a small percentage of the total market.

The fee of the bitcoin as of now already decreased but it is higher than the fee of the last few years. I think also why bitcoin price decrease because of the fee the investor hold or don't send their bitcoin because of the fee for every transaction. High amount or low is same transaction fee and that's not good. Many people use ethereim, litecoin and bitcoincash to transact to other so they can save other money instead of using of bitcoin. I hope this year 2018 bitcoin will become more high price with low fees like other last few years.

Im just waiting the big PUMP of the bitcoin , bitcoin is the most profitable and most popular to the crypto world . I love playing crypto in trading , i use different altcoins in a different time , if the bitcoin chain is clogged sometimes i used eth and doge . But for me bitcoin is always lead in all years , and no one can defeat bitcoin . This is according only to my experience in crypto world.

I think bitcoin still dominates the market, but for other coins like etherium, litecoin and more will also increase
the fact is that bitcoin still ranks first as a digital currency that won the public trust, although now emerging new altcoin offering speed in transactions, I am sure bitcoin in the future will continue to get its legality from the investors |

It will still be bitcoin. Currently, ethereum exchange is not convertible to cash on some local exchanges. So people on those countries are forced to use bitcoin. But I have to admit, Ethereum is such a serious to BTC to become the top crypto.

Source: [1] [2] Everyone are betting what they can bet on the table, some people have been holding BTC for so long and because this last December is a huge drawback, because they are expecting that BTC's price will climb up to 40k$. Some waited weeks in order to see if that huge rollback in price will result to a new ATH but not. We are slowly being consumed by the problems like congested network and very high transactions fees. What to do? go to alternatives. I have tried investing on bitcoin cash last year but as to what I'm seeing now. Its pump is still caused by some market manipulation, what worse is that there are so many forks that came after the first fork, which it is an obvious sign that because they cant control BTC's supply, they are making free money through forks and they are not even serious in finding some really helpful currency (or fork) that can solve the transaction time and transaction fees. So if this lightning network don't do any good, people will turn to other crypto like ethereum. If you are asking me this will be ethereum year, well IMO Ethereum network can get congested too when delivering a very large number of transactions. It is not a good sign. Im treating last year as the year for new projects or what we called ICO, and because the platforms last year is still developing and some are releasing their end product, good results and applications of their service we can call this year as the year for decentralized applications. Let them put into application what they are coding for years. |

2018 will be bitcoin year at the same time ethereum year. Bitcoin well develop the way they make a business and partnership to investors and moving onwards. Still doing what they can to meet the desires of their investors. Btc will always move forward every year. I do not doubt that 2018 will still bitcoin year.
Ethereum doing the best also. Doing what is impossible to make possible to meet the demand of the market. The progress of ethereum jump over than the other. 2018 will be ethereum year also as the progress forward.

also a bitcoin year for me, a year full of more earnings.
It has been estimated by the economists that Bitcoin will end up with 40,000$ in the end of 2018, So 2018 is expected to be again the Bitcoin’s year but as Ethereum is also growing fast so chances are 50-50... Lets hope for the best! 😊 |

Bitcoin increased 18000$ only one year and this lucky year was 2017.But now bitcoin play emotional game after 25 december 2017 bitcoin dump 19000 to 10000$+now.But i think bitcoin can break all previous record and again back to her place so need some time for this.

I think this year will definitely be ripple's (xrp) year since this coin has succeeded in making a huge step forward in no time at all after it struggled for so long at the 20 cent per unit price !
Ripple alone has $47 Billion injected in it just by now ( did achieve more than 131 B previously ) and it is getting talked about a lot and getting so much attention from investors since it is truly a new innovative player on the table !
But i do think that this is a complot by banks to give people ripple in exchange of their bitcoins in a way that bitcoin will be much rarer and much more valuable and just keep producing ripple which is by the way capped at 100,000,000,000 XRP supply , so i'm certainly holding my coins .
