A large part of my portfolio hold for them, about 80%. So that my profit increased X10 for six months. The market activity invest 20% of the Deposit and expand the portfolio. Basically this is a promising coins such as wgr, bnt, mgo.

Long-term is winning in case a good projects, if we deal with hyped-ones - of course it must be short-term.
can you name some good projects in your point of view?

Both .
Eth and BTC for long term . A few long term investments in altcoins I hope will succeed (ADA ,TRX ,IOTA ,EOS). The rest ,i probably won't hold for long .It depends on how 2018 goes for the cryptoworld.

I guess it is still better to be in a long term investment. It is just for my own opinion, its just that you'll really see the profit or the interest you are earning from the money you have invested. And I find it in altcoins.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
if you want to make double profit in your investments,, you can trade your long term coins in short term,, sell in high then buy more in deep coins so, you can increase the amount of your long term coins by trade it in short term

Hi. For me, I invest in the well-being of my portfolio as it follows: Short-term - IOTA, Ripple and Litecoin - all of them have a high potential in the short-run - low risk, high ROI Long-term - definitely BTC and ETH - they are involved with high risk, but the ROI is immensely high after time, as seen by the latest news.

I have similar strategy. Majority of my portfolio is long term. I can hold those coins till forever and minority is for short term trading. I sell when there is a pump and I buy when there is a dump.

I hold a portfolio of coins: 80% of the portfolio in the long term and 20% in the short term. I try to trade for a short day in a day, so that coins change almost every day. It depends on the situation on the market. Both options are beneficial if you correctly allocate risk

If you look at the development of coin prices in cryptocurrency is very interesting, so that investors have their own strategy. Some use short-term strategies to benefit some others who use long-term strategies to make a profit. That is why if you want to invest very important to do research on the coin that will be made a place to invest.
Personally, if i want to invest for a short term, the budget i will spend is 60% of my capital. During for his coin i chose bitcoin and bitcoin cash. And 40% i use for long term investment. For his coin i chose Ripple and Ethereum because his price is still a little cheap but has great potential in the future.

Already thinking about what is best to keep at least a year, but watch out for the prices. Some altcoins can seriously take off. Try to hold and less trade

Long term vs Short term In my opinion, long term is less risky than short term. If you chose good coin u can get higher profit in loan term. it will gain more than the short term. i can tell you some good coin. u can hold them 2 or 3 years or more. DISCLAIMER - do your own research before investing in coins. These coins are chosen based on market news/updates/TA and other factors. It might not always work out.

Long term is always more profitable than short term If you have done some research before investment. Whenever I invest in altcoins I plan to hold it for at least three months before selling and there are only few coins which I'm holding it for short term and 90% of my investment are for long term. Short term is profitable but not always. I think short term are for only whales and for newbie I advise to stick with long term investment.

Holding is the better option, but not as long term as you would hold bitcoin. If you can buy some altcoins and forget about them, then great. If not, you can trade every now and then to adjust your portfolio, since altcoins generally have smaller transaction fees and the transactions are faster than bitcoin. But as a general rule, holding is better.

only long-term investment (hodl) when you believe that coin that take really has potential and its price will increase after a long time. for me, I choose Bitcoin and ETH. Bitcoin value increased 15 times since I bought it the short term only if you like adventure, I call that a trader.
