From my point of view, the choice must definitely be in favor of long-term investments, because those who think they can earn in a short time, they are mistaken, and if they succeed, they are lucky.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I have a lot of Altcoins and not all of them are really pumping so some of them I'm going to use for trading and some of them are for long-term goals and even up to a couple of years of holding for my future.

This is what we get with our experience. We learn how to do it better according to where we are mostly comfortable. We learn new tricks and our patience is getting better.

This depends on the type of investor you are and your interests on the particular coin, if you just want short term holdings to attract value or you are a daytime trader  then sort term will work perfectly well for you.  otherwise long term holding is more profitable especially if you have a promising coin You therefore have to make a choice in the basis of the intentions you have with the coin If you are a day time trader then there might be no need of holding for long as you earn through short time dealings

I personally prefer investing for the long term, short term investment has not really worked very well for me because  I am not very good at trading so I end up losing a lot of money. it is easier for me to buy cheap then hold for the long term

I would better divide my portfolio into both strategies, to cope with risks. Sometimes you even better hold everything when market is not stable.

I think the retention strategy for a long term now does not justify itself, in short positions one can earn much more!

Both long term and short term investments have their own advantages. It depends of coins. Long term is for the coins  that has a very low price this time and increase very slow. Short term coins for trading.

There is risk everywhere, it does not depend on whether you choose long-term investments or short-term ones, you need to understand and remember this. And there it's up to you.

History shows that long-term investment is much better. It should be borne in mind that this market is still very young. Now there is a correction of the market. But in the future a new wave of growth will begin.
I prefer to invest in projects and observe how the team creates their product.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
According to my analysis of the short-time more difficult than long-time. But short-time it is definitely getting a profit quickly but profit can be small and can be huge. For short-time I always analyze altcoin that it's cheap and don't take advantage of the bitcoin or high priced coins except you have a huge capital and be able to analyze price movements with precision. for a long time-surely saving a bitcoin and ethereum because prospeknya very nice

It depends on the amount of money you can hodl. I wpuld recommend a long term hold since the rewards are guaranteed if you do that. However, the good thing about short term hodl is that you can play with the prices and settle for small gains and move on with the next investment.

it seems to me that long-term investment will largely benefit, as analysts predict, within a few years, the currency will rise in price

There seems to be no definite percentage, but basically my investment goal is long term. The reason for selling is usually to be exchanged with other Altcoin.

You can allocate some funds for trading scalping or swing. I do that when I am interested in trading. In my opinion, holding long term alts is better. because of higher profits you just need to target a certain price and sell it

For short-term are Bitcoin and Top Altcoins like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Segwit2x, LiteCoin, Dash and so forth. These coins albeit officially more costly yet they do situate on top due to the exchange volume that continues expanding and it's ensured that you'll get great benefit following couple of months or a year while long-term speculations are the underdog coins like low esteemed coins however recorded as the best Altcoin like Ripple, Dogecoin, Oyster and different coins that valued lower than a US dollar today. These coins can possibly be the following best 10 Altcoins later on so in case you're setting up your future today then these coins will most likely offer you great future.

If you support the technology that the project creates, this is only a 100% long-term investment. The long-term outlook gives good results.

According to this, my choice now is long term. But Before I invest I have to do some research first so that I can distinguish the long term or short term hold. So until now I still learn some adequate technical analysis I have switched to only long-term a group of Altcoin promises.
