Just spoke with Sidonia on a B250, quoted $130.00 + $58.00 shipping + PayPal looks to be ~ $200.00. Reading this entire thread the Onda seems like a good deal even at $200.00 right? I do plan on using an open air case and smOS. Not sure what cards yet as they seem really hard to get. Before Christmas I was able to snag some single fan 1060 6GBs for $279.00, but nothing near that now.
Yeah for one 190-200 with paypal protection is good. If I sold you one for 180 I would want to sell it "as is" One of the reasons I gave her name out was I do not like selling gear "as is". 200 with paypal protection is about the same as 180 no protection. I think the fail rate is 5% if you use smOS if you use win 10 it is harder to get it going. I just built a rig for a client using it with 4 cards an i5 7400t 8gb ram 500gb ssd and it is okay for win 10. a lot more costly for the guy. but he wanted a decent win 10 pc. I struggled to get it going and was only able to get the integrated graphics to display. but it is a kick ass miner and an okay pc. I do not recommend trying to make it windows and using it as a pc. shooting you a pm

citronick, I've only used EWBF with Windows 10. You suggest DSTM is better for Win? Right now I'm at nicehash with my nvidia rig so I cannot test, but I will give it a try soon DSTM is noticeably faster than EWBF and is actively being updated. DSTM is widely reported to be faster, but it's not ALWAYS so. Test for yourself, which is faster seems to be dependent on a lot of factors, including model of card, GPU, and even SETTINGS for the card. It also has a fixed non-changeable 2% fee where EWBF fee can be configured lower - which often makes up for any speed improvement on the DSTM side where it has any. Not saying don't try it - just don't take "it's faster" as a given, TRY IT YOURSELF on your own cards and configuration.

Thanks to everyone here who helped me get my 1070ti rig up and running. Let's just say that I have been very pleasantly surprised by the extreme ease of setup and use of these Nvidia GPUs! Makes me kick myself for waiting so long to branch out from AMD.
I've had this rig running on ETH+DCR for a few days without 1 single crash or issue. I know that ETH is not the best use for these but wanted to try it out with a miner/coin i was very familiar with out of the gate.
Now that I know it's super stable, I was about to start mining ZClassic via MPH. But, I just realized that Claymore's Equihash miner is AMD-only, so I would like to ask for some recommendations for good Nvidia miners.
The 3 I have seen mentioned are EWBF, Silent Army, and Nicehash (I am not using NH is that makes a difference)... so was wondering what your experiences have been with these 3 and any others. Thanks!
EWBF, DSTM, and BMiner are the current Windows-based contenders. Silent Army (zawata) is quite a bit behind the curve on equihash. Nicehash uses EWBF as an external miner (and I think they added DSTM support in a recent version) and stopped developing their own equihash miner months ago.

I switched my equihash miner from ewbf to dstm because of stability issues with the former. Dstm works better for me (no random gpu slowdowns), and runs a tiny bit faster so it was a no-brainer. But not everyone will experience the same.

how are you controlling case fans on the ONDA 8 gpu board ?
I got two fan header splitters and have 4 140mm maglev fans on the board , actualy i want to do six with splitters eventually
I noticed some of the fans are not spinning at max speed I have two in the back blowing towards to front , and two in front set up as exhaust fans
how do you set the fans to to basically go at max speed or at least 80%
these are PWM fans btw

i just used a 4 channel fan controller powered from a molex. if all you want is 100% they make molex to pwm adapters that should run your fans at 100%, but a quick search shows they are kinda pricey for what you get.

On a side note I have 34x 1070tis ordered 2 weeks ago that should be arriving in a few days. Lucky to get my order in before the shortage. Can't wait.

ONDA D1800 6-GPU update
The board ran all night mining Equihash with 4 identical Asus GTX 1060 3GB installed; this morning after installing the other 2 1060's that I received late yesterday (both different from the other 4) I am having endless problems with dstm 0.5.7 crashing (so far as a result of those last 2 GPUs). I'm tweaking the OC settings for them to see if that solves the problem but in the meantime some power figures as promised:
The PSU supplying the Onda board draws about 30W from the wall at idle, jumping up to 300W when all 6 GPUs are mining. The separate server PSU supplying just the GPU PCIe connectors draws 400W from the wall when all 6 GPUs are mining. The actual current draw of each GPU frm the PCIe power port is 5A, so that that comes out to 60W per GPU, 360W total; the server PSU is 90% efficient, then. I can't complain about that, especially since I basically got the server PSUs for free.

Well Microcenter has determined they are the holy gatekeepers now and jacked all their prices by nearly 2x and are limiting cards to 1 model type per household to "protect the gamers" - Sheesh.
How the hell can we get new GPUs at this point?

I agree with this, test both first. From my experience using both EWBF and DSTM I find my pool reported hashspeed to be 4-6% faster, and more stable using DSTM so I use it over EWBF. I found EWBF uses less power and has a lower hashrate because it doesnt utilize my 1070's as well as DSTM. I can dial in a better sols per watt with DSTM.

You buy from a reseller like me and they are 50-80 days of gentle use. Now you know why I don't bust them wide open as I wait for gpu shortages and sell at a markup but not a fuck you price.one of these for 615 ltc ot btc shipped to any state (not Hawaii or Alaska ) https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-5678-KR2 shipped for 1200 ltc or btc my prices are far lower then anyone else. and if you want to expand I have 2 with your name on them

Very slowly, sneaking in orders as you can when you catch a card restocked. If it wasn't for Bitpay and their ISSUES I'd have managed to pick up 4 so far this month, instead of 2 and 2 "messed up payments didn't go through because THEIR system is broken".

Ton in stock? I saw the sign for 1070Ti for $989 but the whole locked cabinet was empty. The Orange County Microcenter I just got back from has nothing except a few 1030s, some 750Tis (can't believe they still have these), some 550s and 460s. Basically not a single card with a PCIe connector. Good going nVidia/AMD - they created a monopoly for distribution channels.
