The team did not get a preferential listing on bittrex, now it’s like swimming downstream ..

Not only Bittrex there are so many other exchanges who are are not interested in to show support. That is the reason it is still struggling hard to find the stable way.

This is struggling cos it was created by the same individual that pumped zlassic past $170 then dumped it back down to $5. The same asshole who conned, then pumped and dumped whalecoin. So it is safe to say he did the same thing here before announcing his exit. So reliable exchange are not getting on board when they know the vehicle is tainted from the start. Am quite surprised this guy has not been dealt with by the law given his location in the states, but hopefully with time as security laws extend to most crypto, financial detectives will have a field day with his ass.

What is the reason for the removal of BTCP from the Bittrex exchange exactly nobody knows. Do not be upset about this, I hope the development team will be able to return the project to popularity. We are still represented on HitBTC.

From the other what? Anonymous coins or what are you referring to? Would help if you elaborate a little bit on your question.

It's main focus in on privacy by allowing users to make anonymous transactions. That is the thing on what this coin was forked and it created lot of hype at start though didn't meet expectations people had. They didn't give up and continuously doing work may be in good market timing it see appreciation but by then it is as usual as any other coin.

Bitcoin Private Rebase Testnet Has Arrived

Development activity has kicked into full force over the last couple weeks and has been revitalized with a slew of fresh developers and testers.

Thanks to the development work of ch4ot1c, JC, and J62 and rigorous testing from MattPass, Aguilaair, and richardvt the Rebase Testnet (Github: https://github.com/BTCPrivate/BTCP-Rebase) is up and running in -regtest mode (fully functional testnet will follow very soon).

The testnet brings the ability for the entire community to join us in rigorous testing, giving developers and the community a much better sample size of tested commands on the Bitcoin Private network / blockchain.

In its current state, the Rebase Testnet has fully functional transparent transactions, including SegWit (P2SH-P2WPKH, P2SH-P2WSH, and bech32 addresses). Shielded transactions are on their way!

Anyone and everyone will be able to use bitcoin-cli to put the network through its paces and ensure everything is in working order and help squash those bugs.

In celebration of recent progress in Bitcoin documentation, [and in the spirit of a more inclusive cryptography and privacy knowledge base in the community], we are actively documenting both Bitcoin and Zclassic as we continue the Rebase. See     https://bitcoin-rpc.github.io/en/doc/0.17.99/rpc/               for the latest `bitcoind` and `bitcoin-cli` docs

Web Based Testnet Console - http://testnet.btcprivate.org/
Not familiar with bitcoin-cli? No worries, MattPass has you covered.

Matt has developed an entirely web based bitcoin-cli console that is available to the masses! This web based console is so user friendly, no prior knowledge of bitcoin-cli is needed!

This should give a massive number of users access to the testnet and all it’s features.

The increase of users who can test and play on the testnet, many will have the tools made available to them to easily get involved with the development of this project.

Bitcoin Private Development Discord - https://discord.gg/CYPzZGM

Along with the release of the Rebase Testnet comes a centralized location for all development discussions where future development discussions will take place. This new Discord is completely open to the public to help facilitate transparency with the development moving forward and create a better environment to foster in new developers. Community members can watch and read up on the latest developments and see real-time progress. This is a new initiative to increase the transparency of the project and its progress..

Bitcoin Private thrives as an active community, and benefits greatly from any and everything that all of you do with Bitcoin Private.

Get involved, stay informed, and most importantly, stay private.

You can try https://peersm.com/wallet

This is a browserification of the very excellent "Tool to claim coins for all Bitcoin forks without using wallets or running nodes" see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827163.msg46945024#msg46945024 , it supports segwit BTCP

It is a secure standalone and offline app inside browsers (except if you use the non advanced mode but you can use the non advanced mode to get your paramaters then switch to the advanced mode to create your transactions)

Hi
I am an expert on this market and my advice is mine

It is possible that the price will reach $ 2500 in the next 3 years and this needs the following things

1. Enter into a high-liquidity exchange
2. A marketing campaign explaining the advantages of this currency
3. Orientation to the system masternodes

That would be $ 2,500 and maybe $ 7,000, as I think

I have provided many paid tips to many companies and here I offer you absolutely free advice

 Cool

So, I've imported the seed I had on Ledger Nano to the Ledger S in order to send the BTCP from it, but I get the same error on Electrum

The seed was imported as a m/49'/0'/0' path (like BTC) which is wrong, but this is only way I can see the coins in it, the m/49'/183'/0' path doesn't show any balance at all..

Thoughts ?

After all this time there is still no official way to extract BTCP from Segwit addresses ?

Could you please email contact peersm com and explain what you did? (without your private keys)

Edit: read too fast, thought you used my tool (the error message looks the same), please ignore this message

I'm trying to sweep my electrum zcl keys into a electrum btcp wallet.
It can read the keys but won't let me do the next step.
I've even tried doing an key import into a fresh wallet.

This is ugly looking app I don't think it's worth to pay this big amount for listing on this useless exchange where trade volume is pretty low. This project still have big whales behind this soon it will start rising.
