Why so high?

Maybe ZET was the most profitable SHA coin to mine for a few hours and all the multipools hashing power went on it. Not too sure.

This just shows how well thought out Zetacoin was initially.  The difficulty re-targeting works great, and this was in place before things like KGW and DigiShield existed.

Issues aren't available on zetacoin's github project so I'll post this here:

Code:
zetacoind getrawtransaction c3371eaa1efb7ef8b03deadf5ecb0c8e10d9f2b8c2f7309d2a549b35b945055e 1
error: {"code":-5,"message":"No information available about transaction"}

Could someone please help me understand why this transaction fails to display its details?
Every other prior transaction has returned the above call successfully; I'm not sure what is different about this one.
I am working off of an indexed, current blockchain (txindex=1).
version 89918

The above transaction can be found here:
Code:
zetacoind getblockhash 1191229 | xargs zetacoind getblock

Thanks

Need some help with a wallet, running on Mac Mavericks

Had the wallet up and running for a long time. Revisited it and now I cannot get it accept blocks. Been stalled on the same block number, despite 10+ active connections, and the status being reported as "catching up"

Port is open.
Reinstalled wallet.

Any ideas?

Looks like the project might be abandoned.  No way to post issues on github, no activity on IRC, no activity on zetacoin forums, and no dev activity here.

Crumms, you might want to try backing up your wallet, uninstalling, reinstalling, and then re-importing your wallet.  Just be careful if it is your first time doing so (you could always use a trusted exchange as a temporary wallet).  If you're up to it, you could also try compiling from source on your machine.  PM me if you're interested and I'll help.

Looks like the project might be abandoned.

Giskard posted the latest wallet 3 weeks back.

zetacoind getrawtransaction c3371eaa1efb7ef8b03deadf5ecb0c8e10d9f2b8c2f7309d2a549b35b945055e 1
error: {"code":-5,"message":"No information available about transaction"}

-5 is invalid key or address: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/src/rpcprotocol.h#L47

Keep in mind this is a bitcoin forum. If you want to connect to zetacoin support, you might like to try the zet.io community.

Kimosan: Thanks for the information about the timing of the most recent update and for taking the time to respond.

Are you aware of any recent major forks?  I saw the txid I posted above on my local blockchain as well as a few explorers but now I am seeing a different transaction in its place on several explorers (such as the one you posted), although the txid just prior to it (the coinbase one) has the same txid in both instances.

Even though I was up to date on the version (according to github and zetacoind getinfo) I am recompiling from source.

I will also re-download the blockchain in case there was a fork related issue.

No forks ever. Did you try to rescan your wallet?

It's an out of wallet transaction.  I'm sure that indexing is working otherwise though (txindex=1 in zetacoin.conf before the first time the daemon started up).  I also tried a rescan with zetacoind -reindex.  Thanks for the suggestion though.

Fresh compile and new blockchain download are almost caught up.  I'll post the outcome as soon as I can re-test at height 1191229.

Code:
∴ zetacoind getblockhash 1191229 | xargs zetacoind getblock

    ],

Freshly downloaded blockchain has a different txid after the coinbase transaction (which has the same txid).

Code:
zetacoind getrawtransaction 2f2aaf8819c7d6f1e20e9a3ae9019cd52d51dc96e3943e82bc47eafa380bfd37 1

This succeeds where my previous attempts with the other txid failed.
I'm not sure what caused this; maybe somehow I got off on a minor fork.

Recompiling and redownloading the blockchain cleared the issue.
Cheers.
