Do I need to sell all alts?

This depends entirely on what alts you are holding. If they are good coins, then I think you should keep them. If it is difficult to decide whether to sell them or not, then just sell half for bitcoin.

If you believe in those altcoins and bought to hold, then hold. They may fall today 2x and grow tomorrow 4x. Altcoins are volatile, but good projects should bring nice rewards.
If you want to speculate, sell all now, get USD and get out of this business. Stay away and try to learn first. Asking investment advises randomly don't help.
And the fact you are confused means you clearly do something wrong. Again, try to learn first, to understand what you do.

If you really satisfied with profit then you can and invest on new gems which is having real potential and still low value or even you can investon good ICO with your profit. If you believe for long run then hold it.

Why are you feeling like that as crypto market is highly volatile and ups and downs are nature of this market. After every sharp rise, market correct to a certain level and reverse happens when a sharp down trend comes. Do your own study before taking any decision.

In the last three months, the growth of altcoins has increased.It still remains in a steady state.More than selling altcoin now If the price still rises then the higher the profit will be.

it doesn't make sense to sell all of your altcoins and then try to exchange it into the bitcoin, These days the more altcoin just like ripple goes to the moon or it even compete with the bitcoin because it gained almost a half from the bitcoin marketcap. DON'T sell your altcoin or you will regret it.

I would not put everything in one place alone. Keep it diversified, reduce the risk. This is the main rule of all. Plus alts are making really good progress now.

the altcoin price will raise to 38$ check once then decide do you want to sell it or otherwise keep it. it is depending on your trade techniques. but investing on bitcoin it is also not a loss because bitcoin price will raise rapidly.

I really depends on the reason you have bought those alts, for a quick speculation or long term. Personally I have sold the alts which have just spiked after a 10X rise, like Stellar and Ripple, because I think they may correct soon. But that's called trading.

Exactly! Without what you are having in portfolio, it is hard to advice you if you should sell or wait. If you have strong alt coins and you should wait because it seems like first quarter of the year will be good time to rise for alt coins.

IMO, don’t sell all altcoin for Bitcoin. It is always better to diversify, maybe sell 50% and bet on bitcoin. In this case, you benefit from both sides.

You seems like me and on my point. We have to invest on bitcoin and hold it now.because the price potential is more than anything we see as of now. But we are seeing misleading by the many altcoins investors and fake investors here for the world finance corporates.
We can invest on bitcoin make billions of money.
Like last year February we may find the boom in the value so holding it will be perfect way to make money.

I think you should not sell all the altcoin, because there are some good altcoins and have the potential to grow up, but if you believe that BTC will reach $20k in the next few days, of course sell altcoin and buy BTC is the right choice.

BTC is only a storage of value, but many altcoins are coming up with solutions that benefit the world and can be used on a daily basis.  Alts aren't going anywhere, stick with alts.

I don't think so , because if bitcoin rise than probability altcoins can also rise with bitcoins so why you need to sell all alts.
you know altcoins has potential to give huge profit which can be more than bitcoin.
