Do I need to sell all alts?

BTC may reach 20K in couple of days trading around 17000$ but altcoins took its original position where all the coins trade based on potential if you really believing on coinf for long term then hold it . If your short time investor then take the profit.

You can also sell them now if you have words from altcoin and buy them if bitcoin increases and altcoin decreases. If you are having an altcoin hole I think you should hold them until it is profitable to sell altcoin.

selling altcoin should be in good preparation. not to sell altcoin at the moment the price position is at a low point. you can sell altcoin if haga position is high and buy bitcoin to make investment.

It depends on what altcoins you are holding , because some of them can make you rich in nearest future . I'd suggest you to never hold only one coin (Bitcoin or something else , doesn't matter) , this is a very risky strategy .

Fully support, you are not clairvoyant and can't be sure for 1000000% that exactly BTC or another coin will make you rich. To get tangible profit from BTC you should invest really big amount and at the same time, you can earn much more if some of your cheap altcoins fly to the moon. You should hold in the wallet at least 5-7 perspective cions.

I think that Bitcoin will past 20000$. But why do you need to sell all allts? A lot of them are good options as well, like Cardano, Ethereum, IOTA and so on. Some of the alts will give you better return and will make you more money, than Bitcoin.

Making rash decisions in a volatile market is a sure way to lose money. Set yourself targets for profit margins that you are happy with and hold until those are achieved. The market is so volatile that unless there is a crazy huge jump you won;t be missing out that much. Besides there is still so much more growing to do. Crypto is barely scraping the mainstream. So much more to come!

Selling of all altcoin for BTC is not a good idea completely, it depends on potential of your holding coins. Some altcoins have huge potential to move-up and can give you better returns in compression of BTC.

If your alt is a good one then it can recover soon after a while so you can sell it and buy back lower or you don't have to do anything and stick to long term target. The thing is usually when you sell your coins then you are afraid it will fall further and miss the opportunity to buy it back. I don't sell my alts because it's too much hassle to sell all of them and wait for the opportunity to buy back later.

no you do not need to seel all your altcoin just for bitcoin, first what altcoin that you hold..?? if it is a good coin like ripple, cardano, tron, eth, i think they will give a big money a.k.a profit for you than just bitcoin. it depends on your strategy

Bitcoin seems to be rising again at $ 20,000 I think the most logical thing in this process will be to buy a tether.

For my opinion,  you should not sell all your altcoins now to gain more bitcoin. Many of them has also greater change to pump in future. Maybe left those that you think will increase soon, and for additional ethereum is also pumping right now. Maybe just divide it by two parts

The wrong step if you sell all your altcoin. Even if the bitcoin price is $20k, it is more profitable for altcoin holder. Although price of altcoin will down little bit in that day but in the few days will recover.

I think 2018 will be marked by the growth of altcoins. This, many say. So maybe we should not get out of altcoins. Although this is entirely up to you. Personally, I don't have bitcoin. All in altcoins

If yes, why not trade those altcoins to another so that you can also gain a little profit. We can not reassured that Bitcoin will get pump and would reach your desired value. But you can also hold those altcoins. Anytime you can get those altcoin to exchange to Bitcoin in a higher value if you invest on the right altcoins.

Don't confuse yourself just relax and hold your altcoins and wait to raise up the value when the time raise up that is the time to sell it but not all maybe 75% and 25% just keep it.
