Do I need to sell all alts?

What reason would you have to sell all your alts, to buy BTC? based on speculations? not a very wise idea, BTC will reach its heights finally, but diversifying makes you a wise investor, id rather you keep the alts and make separate BTC investment

Very hard for bitcoin to reach 20k anymore by looking at current progress of bitcoin in recent months this year, i dont think bitcoin even will hit 15k this year. However, there are good chance for eth to increase in price.

unnecessary because altcoin has the potential to rise along with the bitcoin price increase, please sell altcoin with small volumes (old coins) and start focusing on coins with clear and medium volume road maps, maybe if bitcoin rises high, everyone will sell their altcoin and just focus on bitcoin, I believe but I have never done it because faithful with altcoin that I hold.

I believe eth could increase this year, but in bitcoin it is really possible to hit $20k. Who knows, everything is possible in bitcoin market since price is volatile. Above all, don't sell all altcoins their is a big chance to gain profit.

BTC can't reach to $20k in 2018 however it can reach near to this figure by end 2018.if you have BTC in your basket you should hold till the price reach to highest level and you may get your desired result.I don't know which Altcoins you are having in your crypto portfolio.if you have these Altcoins ETH,XLM,NEO,MIOTA then you should hold them for long term if you have some shit coins you should immediately sell them.

Yes I think so. But all decision is on your hands. For me hold altcoin is also profitable, I only sell some coin which the price keep go down. I want to save profit and don't want to hold worthless coin.

each coin must have its own role which is the reason for holding. so to sell Altcoin to buy Bitcoin is a bad decision. therefore do not sell your Altcoin to buy Bitcoin.

Don't sell your altcoins because when the market goes into a bull market then your altcoins will also go up in prices as bitcoin goes up in prices and you will make profit from those too, just hold them.

No one can guarantee how much the price can be achieved by altcoin and bitcoin
But In a market condition that crash like now, sell is an option that I avoid.
Be patient, strengthen mentally and wait until the price rebounds.

You don't need to sell all your Altcoin, why? because it's neccesary you diversify your investment, you don't need to stay on Bitcoin alone though Bitcoin worth putting all money but it's mandatory for an investor to diversify.

I don't think this is right decision ,sell all altcoins  when bitcoin dropped  ,you will lost your money in both of altcoins and bitcoin  ,the right way is holding when bitcoin recover ,i sure altcoin will recover too .
