basically you don't need big exchanges if you don't have already existing accounts with them or lost access. if you already have some coins then you can use aggregators like coinmonkey.io for trading, transfers are fast and you can choose best rate as such exchangers normally use several major exchanges for manading orders, it's like you have accounts with 5-6 exchanges and check which rate is best one. quite comfortable.

I suggest going with exodus as your exchange thing. It is very reliable exchange to use right now even for a beginner. It has so many currencies to exchange with from btc, eth and to other more. It is also easy to use because of its software and platform. It is not like the other exchange that make you hassle and not reliable to use. This exchange is so reliable and not hassle to use as ur primary exchange.

I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game.  I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins.  I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public.  There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.
We are just the same, here in our country we could only buy bitcoin and then transfer to a certain exchange like Binance. You lost some amount of money during the process because of transaction fees.

Binance, Bittrex, Crpytopia are good exchanges. You need to have your countries local exchange account and later you can create accounts in other exchanges and transfer your coins to other exchanges.

I think the best place for a beginner is etherdelta. because very many ico coins are traded on etherdelta. you can start there. and hitbtc is also very good, but the exchange fee is quite expensive.

I've started from Poloniex, and Bittrex. They are pretty easy to use. Now I added to my list Hitbtc, Liqui, Kukoin, Binance - they have a lot of "new" coins, plus Binance has huge volumes, and there is a big withdrawal limit without verification.

I was trading at Poloniex at for the first time I knew about cryptocurrencies. But, lately I'm trading at Bittrex and I like it because it's easy to use till now. I don't have any problem with Bittrex at the moment till now. So, Bittrex is my recommendation. Second, I am trading at Cryptopia. This is my second trading exchanger that I like. Third, I like Bitcoin.co.id because I can convert my crypto into my local currency (IDR). That's what I thought, just do the research and the choice is yours.

if indeed you already believe with any pertukarang place, then better forward it, until you really understand it. because the place of exchange is not to play games.

Etherdelta is quite user friendly and easy to access to various tokens and coins on there but before since its DNS server got hacked the site itself doesn't load properly at least after a couple of try. Which is pretty frustrating. You should check out Bittrex as I think this is one of the exchanges out there and the user interface is also good.
Binance is also a good exchange but sometime like yesterday they do update without prevent their user

bittrex is solid
don't go with other scam crap like binance.

I have successfully transfered my USD to BTC on Coinbase, then put the BTC in my Electrum Wallet and transfered that to Cryptopia.  (Its one of the ony places to trade XMG)

Took a week to get to Coinbase. The rest was accomplished in an hour.

To get a Cryptopia account going click the link. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Register?referrer=Filkus

For beginners, binance, cobinhood or even Coss. These are cheap and easy. The tokens should be stored after the purchase then best in a private wallet. Myetherwallet or similar where you have the private key.

I think that the most userfriendly interface is Bittrex or Binance, but Binance for some reason does not work today. I read the twitter, they say that they synchronize the databases. Soon everything should work again.

Cryptopia I think. Because this exchange have great number of trade pairs, many 'exotic' coins, good volumes and not many bots traders. Cryptopia was the my first exchange and still one of the my favorite.

Etherdelta is the most dangerous exchange for someone who has just started. A beginner may lose all his money if he writes a different price instead of the price he wants to trade.
Bittrex or Binance's much easier to use and less risk of making mistakes.

Binance is a good exchange but when you want an exchange without Fee´s then you should look out at cobinhood.com its new and not many tokens or coins are listed now but they are coming.
