You only have a few options as far as trading pairs but in my opinion Gdax is best for a beginner. It has USD trading against BTC, BCH, ETH and LTC. This makes it easy to figure your profit and loss. Also there is no fee to buy or sell

I think that you perfectly understand the fact that exchanges should have a friendly interface for beginners so that any person can figure out what and where to click, but it seems to me that many exchanges today do not have this.

There are a lot of them and each has its advantages and disadvantages but for today it seems  to me the most convenient and reliable (binance)

Personally, when I started in Cryptocurrency trading, I first used Poloniex then Bittrex then also tried KuCoin.  Those three are good and easy-to-use exchange sites that is suitable even for beginners. I highly recommend those three and hope that other exchanges will also cope up with them and be better to attract new users in their exchange site.

But I think for an experienced exchanger that is easy to use for beginners is binance and kucoin, because of the attractive deposit is very easy and for trading is very promising because when the coin can enter the price of binance will grow quickly.

There are different centralized exchanges who I can suggest, but I think that the best one is Kucoin for beginners. There you can see the difference in the sell and buy price what makes it easy to trade.

I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game.  I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins.  I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public.  There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.

when I first got to know crypto, the exchange I chose was bittrex, because bittrex is so easy to understand, everyone also said that the best exchange right now is bittrex

Learn from my trading experience, its better to chooce exchange that offer pair USDT and they has stop limit/ trigger order function. Because trade on pair USDT is more easy cause the price of USDT is stable, and stop limit function is important to use it for stop loss and trailling stop. And one of the good exchange out there is Okex and Binance, they has that features.

I think that beginners need to choose an exchange where you can work not only with cryptocurrency, but also with dollars. It will be very convenient for beginners.

Well, if you would like to trade ERC-20 tokens, then use IDEX.
If you are interested in another altcoins use Binance because they have the lowest fee on the market.

The best crypocurrency exchange for beginners is finance.
The interface is second to none....so even a grandpa would be able to navigate through seamlessly unlike other exchanges .

Each exchange has its own policy of adopting the Fiat, as well as looking at which country is based. But exchanging Fiat for a coin is an easy thing. But the amount of the commission is another matter. This is what many do not exude. But in the future there are changes, especially after the implementation of quantum technology! So, the project Kelvin Blockchain are going to change the current provisions of the crypto world, thereby secure their funds from quantum threats.

I myself started with the Poloniex exchange, trading on it seems to me simple and understandable, today I would recommend to the newcomers Binance.
