Third. The backend already supports specifying a different address for receiving. Will add a UI for it once the share transfer is complete.

We received the final share list from BitFunder a few days ago, just going through a consolidation process at the moment.

One problem that I have had since BitFunder's closing is that since my BitFunder public address was shared with multiple issuers, when I receive payments sent to the public address, I never know what asset it is a dividend payment for. I prefer to use a different BTC address with each issuer so that when I receive a payment made to that address, I know what it is for.

Could you add an option in our IceDrill accounts so that, once we have logged in with our Google account, we can specify a unique BTC address for the dividend payments to be sent to?

I second this. Would really much like to have different payout addresses for different securities.

Hi guys,

So i've been following the latest updates of HashFast to get an idea of where hashfast is in the process, however I don't really understand how far they are, and how far left they have to go before icedrill receives their items. Could someone point me to a place where it shows a brief guideline or to do list of some sort which hashfast still have pending?

Tnx

John S. (VP Sales) just told me Baby Jets should start shipping out on Saturday!

If anyone can get our hardware through the holiday rush and your local customs office quickly, it's CIARA.

"Bitcoin enables ordinary people to fight back, to avoid and evade snooping governments, which enact, use and abuse laws that allow them, without due process, to investigate, tax, control and seize privately owned assets."  -   Leon Louw

“We can say without equivocation that firms like MasterCard, Visa and the TBTF banks like JPMorgan and Goldman hate the idea of ever having to compete for business again. They have grown comfortable in their corrupt world of writing laws for themselves without any regulatory oversight. They enjoy the exorbitant privilege of bilking the American economy with extortionary transaction rates. They are scared of Bitcoin. And they should be. It offers transparency, cost efficiency and anonymity.” - Max Kaiser

As far as I remember IceDrill ordered Sierras. When those will be shiping?

Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors.
Changing one PCB with screwdriver and you have brand new miner in hand... Plug&Play, scalable from one module to thousands.

How come your first batch doesn't go to your biggest customer as of yet: DeadTerra with his IceDrill mining company? I'd expect that a 500TH Sales order would be moved to the top of the line?

He said first batch of baby jets, not first batch of chips. If you think they'll only make 550 chips in the first run... well let's just say that probably won't happen.
Yeah I read that.. but DeadTerra is saying the operation is starting in November.. That means he won't receive his miners untill then. Which I find weird considering that 500TH == 1250 BabyJets.. Since DeadTerra says he had contact with Hashfast for a while I would expect his order to be delivered first. Not a full month later.. Especially if with currect difficulties a full month means almost 60% drop of returns..
'
IceDrill.ASIC gets chips from the first batch, the same one that will be used to produce babyjets.
We will not be receiving babyjets, we will have the chips set into racks to fit into our datacenter.
The reason why we state Novemeber is because we are unsure on how long time it will take for the chips to reach us and how long it will take for us to assemble them. Hence we prefer a conservative date.
//DeaDTerra

Yeah, we don't care about BabyJets, anyway with all this delay we are screwed...

If IceDrill is receiving chips, maybe they have a board ready? Or maybe they are waiting for HF to finalise their design?

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

That's what I was getting at.. I thought you need to install the chips on boards before placing them in racks..

Ok, this should clarify:

Will also how long will it take you to get the full hashrate up and running once you recieve chips?

We'll be receiving fully-built Sierra units, not chips. We'll start hashing as soon as soon as they're plugged in. The full deployment will probably not take more than 48 hours, assuming we don't run into any problems.

EDIT: Apologies for the late posting on this, wanted to get a couple of feedback loops on it first.

Share destruction: hosting option summary

The Batch 1 Sierra units will undergo final assembly in Canada. We will pick up the machines directly from the manufacturer and begin deployment within 24 hours of the pickup. Machines will be deployed on a prorated order. For example if 20% of the hardware is converted in this way, every 5th machine we receive will be deployed to the investor hardware pool on a first-come first-served basis.

The hosting solution includes the following:

  • Shipping & delivery
  • Setup
  • Maintenance
  • Electricity cost
  • Cooling
  • No customs risk
  • 24/7 Support
  • All supporting equipment (racks, shelves, cabling, PDUs, controller servers, etc.)
  • Replacement and reinstallation of any faulty hardware within 24* business hours.
  • Hosting term: 1 year.

All inclusive cost: 252 USD per Sierra unit per month, based on 1000W continuous power consumption.

Options offered to the investor:

  • The all-inclusive cost will be covered directly from mining output of your hardware. No further investment will be required. This cost coverage will be locked in with the first couple of days of mining.
  • Full-service management of software and we give you access to our monitoring software so you know what your machines are doing at all times.
  • Full access to all our research on overclocking, underclocking, cooling enhancements, infrastructure improvements and any other improvements.
  • Option to implement above hardware/infrastructure research results on an ad-hoc basis. Note that any implemented customization that will void the warrantee of the machines will be at the behest (and therefore risk) of the hardware owner. The customization work will be done by DigiMex, but any extra costs incurred (e.g. higher power consumption by overclocking) will necessarily have to be covered by the investor’s mining output.
  • Reinvestment: We would like to stay true to the original contract and negotiate a reinvestment clause at the start of the contract to have us both benefit from the cost-efficiency of bulk purchases. We understand that we cannot force it as you’ll retain ownership of the hardware, so this agreement will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

*waiting on confirmation from Hashfast regarding the exact RMA agreement.

Please note we did state that 15 October would be a deadline for a decision. This really only applies for the non-hosted option of taking delivery yourself. If you host it with us, the re-routing of the hardware is obviously unnecessary.

I think shareholders only care about when Icedrill can start hashing.

I think shareholders only care about when Icedrill can start hashing.

Shareholders also care about being able to buy and sell shares.

Looks good the baby jet, just wondering what they used the table fork for laying on the desk on the left.
I know you can fork bitcoin source code on Github, maybe HashFast to the literal approach to forking it Smiley
