I know you're not personally capable of such feats, but trust you can at least imagine what it's like to manage the colossal task of juggling hundreds of moving parts distributed among dozens of teams.
at least we know now that you've been trolling all along! 100's of moving parts!!!

The official HashFast account just posted a pic of the CEO with chips in-hand less than 5 days ago . What more do you want? Breakfast in bed? Roses on your pillow? Talk about overly attached customers. The picture was posted 5 days ago. They got the chips on the 8th. HashFast Silicon has arrived in Silicon Valley! Posted on November 8, 2013 by Amy Woodward

They are in full legal lock-down mode. Say nothing or do nothing that can be used against you later. We're just along for the ride now. See you all on Jan 1st. I hope to get better news earlier, but I've hoped twice before and been burned. Thanks BFL, Avalon, and now HF.
Reputation has a financial value (but maybe not tangible one). I'm not sure a good legal advisor would really be advising do not speak. If they were in legal lockdown, that is more likely to mean that legal is standing over PR's shoulders, but not squashing them. Media silence normally is a phase of a pre-IPO company that is mandated by the SEC. I'm not sure why there is a suggestion that "5 days ago" is some kind of unreasonable expectation for communication. I see about 500 BabyJets on the Order 1 chain - and this forum has Sierra and Batch 2 people in it. Even if 25% of the forum is a customer, there is easily $1m of customers here asking for contact, it's not too much to ask to be coddled. I can walk into a Fleming's Steakhouse and I have 5 waitstaff constantly interrupting my dinner conversation to make sure I'm happy. If I go into McDonald's with the same expectation, I'm going to be disappointed and back in the kitchen, iCEBREAKER is going to be talking shit about me for asking for too much - my food is cooking, can't you see I just put the fries in the cooker? Why don't I just relax, it's coming, stop being so impatient, here are some memes! He's absolutely right. That's too high of an expectation at McDonald's. But the question is: does HashFast want to be Flemings or McDonalds?

Sitting, waiting and hope. On my receipet is a memo, that when the miner is not shipped until 31. dec, I can get an refund. The whole business is so serious and exciting that i have to take it with humor. What will you do? Call the police, the swat team or any other special forces. Take a look to some penny stock companies, they pray years: "YES we will develop an drug for eternal life" this companies produces only one: COSTS Here on HF you see something, hear something and i smell some giga hashes. I wrote to CIARA direct and asked if they realy have an contract? Dear Fubly Thank you for your inquiry Yes, we are partnering with Hashfast on the bitcoin project
I have forwarded your email to Hashfast senior management and they should answer you promptly

I´m not an paid troll. I want only to improve the mood, not more. You are not the paid troll, you are the customer in denial, just like me. Ice is the paid troll. Still wondering what its hourly pay is... Anyway no, it won't be 800GH and no, it won't be 800$/btc, not for long enough for us to sell at that price at least.

Guys, forget about that refund thing. If they don't ship until december 31, there will be no money left to refund. And if there is, they won't give it to you voluntarily and definitely not the whole amount (custom made good). I went through that before with an Avalon clone company and if Yifu Guo hadn't miraculously refunded the chips and the company hasn't been honest in the most parts, this would have been a total loss. So it was only 20%, which was a significant amount nevertheless. Nobody will refund the chips for HF. I want only to improve the mood, not more.
An ambitious task if they even don't talk to their official spokesman anymore. Which is an epic fail and totally inexcusable.

You can be guaranteed that they will ship before Jan. 1. Even if it is broken, consumes 10x the power, 1/2 the hash rate, and uses someone else's chips, you will be sure they will ship to not have to deal with the refunds.
It was one of the reasons why I ordered from HF. With the MPP and the "drop dead" deadline, I figured there was enough structured incentive for them to deliver in 2013. I too was burned by Avalon, and wasn't going to order from anyone that didn't have at least some incentive to deliver. I also believe that their 28nm chips will be as efficient as any others coming on the market for the next 9 to 12 months...
If anyone thought they would ship before their deadline, they clearly are new around here. Name me one Asic provider that beat their end deadline.

I was sure they would have shipped by their promised shipping date. Sure. What could have gone wrong? Tapeout already done, Ubiquity that says chips in October... And then we know the rest.

jspielberg, you make a lot of assumptions. None of them based on facts. They most definitely can ship nothing before jan 1st. BFLs done it. Avalons done it.
Clearly you must be new too then huh? Because no asic company has not shipped products to people who ordered them right, and ignore refund request? You clear?

Would be a great way of getting out of all those MPPs though, considering they have seperate "deadlines" for the rest of their batches.

I'd be more than happy if they just said hey look our bad we are going to refund your Bitcoin. The prices they charged, for a batch one BabyJet especially, were way too much if they thought even for a moment were going to miss their shipping deadline. At the same time they projected an air of extreme confidence that they knew what they were doing because they had been involved in hardware businesses before and because of that weren't going to be another BFL. I clearly remember asking about their estimate for the shipping date before ordering and what they thought the chances of missing it were and the exact words from the Hashfast sales person were, "That's _not_ going to happen"

Bitfury, delivered 1 day earlier, promised August 31st, delivered August 30th in quantity. Bitfury Strikes Back I will agree was early by a day (and over delivered with extra H-Cards for the starter kits). MegabigPower was late by a week (somewhat bitten by the US holiday weekend). There is no doubt that HF's "starting date" was misleading and put out there simply to compete with Bitfury's October deadline and KnC's November date. But again... with the experience with the other vendors as a guide and the weaseling marketing speak (i.e. "anticpated starting shipping blah blah"), I think it fair at the time to put it at a 5% chance of October 31... a 50% chance of November and 99% chance of Dec. 31st. Like I said, they are going to deliver by Dec. 31st.... even if it is just a box of rocks (or a repackaged Megabigpower 400GH miner).
