late 2017/2018 will be similar to 2013/2014

so better keep a good amount of money in fiat to buy coins cheaper in 2018

Yes! 2018 is a good year for altcoin because people are looking now for it and starting to buy and invested money within. Through the media mainstreaming altcoin become popular to the people which resulting to encourage investor to buy and invest money with altcoin. Today altcoin value are rising and they are potential to grow constantly in the market.

We started on the right foot so yeah, Altcoins will do great this year, same goes for the ICO. The ones that will be successful will see a greatly price increase.

I would prefer to do more research than last year. I think 2017 is the climax year for cryptos, because we can not expect cryptos price will always rise above every each of last years. there is a possibility that the prices are steady, not higher than before in the same period. 2018 is the year when investment needs to come from the very low price to hold, that's a safe way to gain profit. too many bad news are around, and the governments try many things to stop cryptos popularity that affect the crypto markets.

Yes being top 3 Ripple give hope that altcoins can compete with any other coins. But, still a long way to go because some altcoins are just for hype pump/dump. Still there are many promising altcoins which is within top 100 that can perform well in the future. Let's just hope that they can deliver what has written in their roadmap.
