I doubt that 2018 will be positive for the altcoins. Even bitcoin started this year with a terrible fall, and the etherium and ripple lost most of their value. I think that this year it will not be possible to get profit with the cryptocurrency.

Yes seems like this year will the year for all altcoins especially   ethereum,Ripple,Neo,Cardano and Stellar.Eventhough some of the coins go down but not necessarily failed they recover their price this year.

I think 2018 is a good year for all altcoin, and good for all altcoin if bitcoin increases again. This will be the best year for all Altcoins especially ETH, NEO, and Cardano. It is very stable and it can increase in the future.
