BTC or ETH in 2018

When it comes to investment both coin is the best choices and it would be more profitable if you have both coins. Some might choose Eth because the price are still affordable for those wants to invest with an average capital compared to Bitcoin, and Eth has a lower volatility than Bitcoin. But I still choose Bitcoin over Eth, and Im lucky I have both coins in my portfolio

i believe eth will lead bitcoin in marketcap in this year,, but not long, maybe just few weeks or few days,,
and when this is happend eth price can be at $5000

Still bitcoin,and if BTC failed us there will be ethereum to lead all the cryptocurrencies and thats for sure,ethereum is a solid platform has a good community,users will surely choose ETH over any altcoins if they are choosing which coin to replace the leadership of BTC,.but i dont think BTC will fail us this year its morelikely getting ready for the big bull run.

There is no way that bitcoin will fail as it is the king of cryptocoins but i would prefer Ethreum over bitcoin in terms of current market situation as Eth have some better features which are missing in bitcoin and Ethreum got stability which is lacking in bitcoin (sometimes we just cannot predict the market situation but experienced users know about the fluctuations).

My partner and I are in on Ethereum. With so many companies using them it seems like its ecosystem is taking off. Bitcoin could stay King but has a chance to become dated without updating some of its core problems (transaction speed/cost).

I dont see BTC dying, it could fall to 7-8000 $ but than it will climb the big cold wall next 3-4 months. ETH is a big winner, but the way up is harder, maybe 2500$ this year.

Both are the best coins around.  But Bitcoin gets a lot more negative attention. Ethereum will recover a lot faster, so it is better option right now for everybody who is in doubt.

Bitcoin has people that needed to make money instantly get what they had to get. The other coins are usually going to get to that point though they're not low-risk coins.

Agree, that the ethereum will grow if it implements its plans, but I doubt that it will grow so strongly, maybe 100% but certainly not 1000

For investment I choose both , I put my assets 60 % in Bitcoin and 40 % in Ethereum.
For the price Bitcoin still the leader while Ethereum number two .

The bitcoin prices continue to consolidate and trade with a bearish bias, something that we had pointed out last Friday. The market is maturing very fast and this is evident from the price action that we have been seeing in the market. No more do we see major and uncontrolled moves on either side and we can see that the rises and the falls in the prices have been much slower and steady. Any major fall has been met with quick buying and we see strong selling come in on higher prices as well. These are typical signs of a maturing market with large investors coming in and the speculators moving out with the realisation that they would not be able to get the exorbitant gains that they are used to.

I personally have an opinion that 2018 is a year for ethereum, because I think the bitcoin period is over in 2017 (bitcoin can still rise in price just not as much as ethereum in 2018), so for those of you who want to invest in 2018 I suggest to invest in ethereum.
