i think it is hard to say which is better. It depends on the market fluctuation. trading helps you have knowledge, experience, profit. Holding help you get big profit in the recovering time.

if you have faith on some particular coin that you have currently, hold it. (example like me i hold Nano, and boscoin cause i know this will become the next big one sooner or later).
If no and you see the price is rising then sell it , wait for some dip and buy again or just leave the coin and search for the new one.

Having seen the massive rise of cryptocurrency prices in the previous year, I have seen that if one gets a coin at the right time and holds it before the prices pumps up, there would be huge gains. But then, the frequent bearish attitudes of the markets also affords one some gains.
Among these two strategies, which is better and which d you recommend?
I really doubt that the price of bitcoin can increase in the coming days. Currently, after the $ 12,000 mark failed to break through, the price of bitcoin is steadily declining. And the market is falling down. I think that at the present time we should not trade when the market is so red, because the risk is very high.

Due to missive rise in cryptocurrency market in last 1-2 years, we have seen that the HOLD is the best strategy to follow. Trading is risky and requires some experience in past.

that's what some people tend to overlook: even if you trade successfully, you need to be over the gain you would have made from simpe holding. actually, what you need is to be far above what you get from passive holding, since trading takes a lot of effort that needs to be compensated in order to be more valuable than holding. that's quite hard without proper experience and tools.
Definitely, but still anyone who ends up trading and not being successfully will end up losing more that they can imagine if they had decided to hold. So many people want to make more money through trading but they are not ready to learn as much as they can to be able to make good profit from trading.

To me, this is more like acting foolish anyway, but for someone who is smart, trading is just a way to keep increasing what you have.

I think keeping and trading are the ways to make a profit, but it also depends on the purpose and security to know what to choose. If you have technical analysis skills, good information, solid psychology and want to make a profit every day you choose the trade. If you determine that you do not have teeth analysis techniques and want to be safe then choose how to buy and hold, as long as you choose the potential long-term projects to reduce the risk.
Most times, to be able to manage risk, this is actually a good way to go about it. Once you are able to keep some and they keep increasing, you can then utilize the fluctuations as long as you are knowledgeable and then make use of that to make even more but few percentage of your holding can be allocated to that.

They are both good, but it all depends on the knowledge of the individual with respect to trading as well as how much they are willing to take the trading risk.

If you don't have good trading skills, my advice is to just hold your coins. Trading skills are really important because this skill can help you to make money in trading cryptocurrency.

It depends to you! If you have a lot of patience, then it is good if you will do long term investment. Long term investment is one of the best way to double your capital.

Trading may guarantee you some fast cash, while holding may continue endless. If you can earn enough money from trading, you are welcome. But if you dream to change your bicycle to lambo, i thnik, there are no another way except holding)
Holding for someone who has something else doing to make money even guarantee less madness and at the end of the day a good amount of profit. However, for someone who is really do nothing and can learn how to trade effectively, trading makes a lot of sense to turn your holdings to work, and then make some passive income from your holding while you save up more as well. In the long run, the decision is made based on the condition and factor that surrounds the investor.

Try to divide your fund for you to know if the day trading is profitable than holding or holding is more profitable than day trading. For me, both holding and day trading is profitable strategies.

It depends to you.  Because you can hold to this two kind of way to grow your bitcoin.  By holding you can wait the price to increase before you sell it, it's your choice also if you want tk hold it for few months or few years.  But In trading you can buy altcoin who have potential to increase in the future many people earn a lot of profit because of the bitcoin and for sure you if you have a lot of knowledge you will earn more too.

I think it depends on what coin one desires to trade because some coins are good to trade because of their high value. But, some coins are not that profitable which is better to hold. Now, in holding coins one must bare in mind that the could could be profitable in the future or just be worthless.

Both have different purpose and different outcome especially on what coins are we going to trade. There are some coins that are good for day trading and for long term. We just need to study on what coin we are going to hold or trade. If i have a very big balance then it's a advantage because i will do both. I can earn a lot by holding then my other source of funds is for day trading.

For me, Holding will be much better than trading. Because in the long run holding gives consistent returns and is better suited for those preferring a low-stress atmosphere. In trading you would need to learn all about trading strategies. You have to spent enough time in order to prepare before the market opens, by reading any latest news, checking global sentiments, and so forth.

For me trading. Because you can start trading with a small money. You can gain profit easily; everyday or everyweek. But you need trading skills to have a big profit and it is risky. If you dont have these trading skills then go to holding.

In my opinion it is more better for us to have to do both type of these work because profit is in both of the case .
In one side we can make profit by investing money in coins and selling them according to small pump and dump With this at another side if we can hold better coin ( like bitcoin or etherium or dash like Crypto. ) Then we can make money without doing any hardwork , we just need to hold the amount of the coin for long term of 1-2 years and then make bulk amount of profit ( as we made from bitcoin ) .
So here we should do both of these works instead to go with one .
And also we should go for another works like investment in legimate ICOs and investment in new project , that mean to work in multiple projects to make better all type of ways to work .

When there is fluctuation in the market, it's better to trade. Holding doesn't make that much sense in fluctuation times. Trading gives some profit which will make you happy somehow.

Just the two of them are both profitable.. But for me I'd like to trade it when I see the good price. But I must prefer to hold it when it's dumped. But It's all depends upon the coin value.

If you think that it is already time to sell then why not sell it to gain profit now? If you think that this is the right time to buy bitcoin because the price is low then get that opportunity or regret it in the future. We all have our own decisions and we are the one who will decide for ourselves.

I  am also a trader, but have moved to hold, if you watch the growth history of the market, will see the hold yield greater profits but need more knowledge and more patience.  Grin Grin
