can someone post some good nodes? I'm having trouble connecting and none of my transactions confirm.

Due to the extreme nature of the difficulty adjustments, which are there to make mining more random than other coins, some blocks will take longer than others to be found, this also means the longer it takes to find the block, the greater the amount of transactions fee's.

The two VPS seed node will be closing down tonight and then Dedicated and very powerful cloud server I am started renting will take over, this is on the OP and was mentioned a while back.

This dedicated server will also be used as the bases for the up and coming EXC only services.

Please at this new server to you conf file as a seed node - addnode=31.193.130.77

Thanks

Hi all,

Nobody panic about seednodes, as was mentioned a while back the two low powered VPS seednodes are now gone and replaced my a new and powerful dedicated Cloud Server. Please put this is your conf file and delete the other two old ones.

New seednode : addnode=31.193.130.77

Thanks.

it ain't quite a great name but it surely ain't that worse considering that there is shitcoin, sexcoin, offerings to cthulu and many more. And it's true that the name of a coin has an impact on its progression but it's the man's coin so it's up to him.

Nothing wrong with the name sexcoin.  That coin was made for a specific purpose, the name is appropriate for that purpose.

That seednode fixed the problem, and my transfer is now confirmed.

It's currently about $0.08 on CoinEx  Cheesy

It's now ~$0.30 on Bter Shocked I guess people finally realised there is a limited supply Grin

Don't trade on Bter right now if you have any plans to take your funds back out.  Bter has suspended withdrawls
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=280806.120

Some people myself included have been trying to get withdrawals processed for now nearly 48 hours, and Bter support doesn't respond to any emails.

I have the same problem.

It's CoinEX all the way for me.

EXC all the way up.

Well props to Bter.  I finally got my 1.7 BTC withdrawal that had been processing for about 36 hours.  I had half expected that it would be lost forever...

Hopefully they will get everything sorted and running smoothly again.

"I am not worried about people stopping mining this coin after the reward is gone, as I have got myself another rig that will be dedicated to just mining this coin and keep it going."

Really?

Really?

The current network hashrate is 16.5 Mh/s so there are people mining it.

The coin still suffers from a difficulty adjustment problem.  Once the difficulty gets high miners jump off and the coin gets stuck, with no block solved for hours.

I just asking about "myself another rig", not about network hashrate and other ppl.

Great to see Extremecoin being mined and bring actively traded on both BTER and CoinEX, bet they are making some nice profits from the trading fee's.

I keep EXC supporters in the loop, I am still hard at work developing the first major service for Extremecoin, which is going to be an online store with the ONLY form of payment being Extremecoin.

This is going to be the first of many services that I am going to either run or indirectly support.

I am working on the next client update for EXC, this will be to stabilise the difficulty swings so this coin spends less time being stuck at higher difficulties.

This will make is a much easier currency to work with.
