Its not that hard you only have to enter three fields and the password can be anything so just two really.

On the last video you show being connected to antpool then viewing siamining pool for balance, hows that work?

Maybe i'll try chrome browser, sometimes safari doesn't work well with everything

My Sia address from Bittrex seems awful long and when I enter it at siamining site it says invalid

A valid Siacoin address is a 76-character hexadecimal string, inclusive of checksum.

On a side note is there anyplace other than an exchange (bittrex, etc) that is taking sia coin right now? Shapeshift is not taking it. Any ideas?

The hashrate was around 450 THS before the miners started coming online. Now its around 550.

So only around 120 A3 have come online so far? And they are mining 400 sia an hour.

How many more to come? If there is 15000 more then 400/125 = 3 an hour and 75 a day? Lol

I know that the recent fork has not completely fixed the block times yet and will be a while. But just did a dunny calculcation Smiley

Will consider it, but something does not sit right with supporting a dev team that wants to brick my miner......  Since a percentage of Luxor pool fee goes to the SIA dev team.  Let the SIA dev team come out with a definitive "NO" to softfork, then I would highly recommend supporting them via Luxor mining.  It is in everyones interest (incl. Bitmain) that the project succeed.

Please look at the two top signatures in the letter sent to Sia pushing for the soft fork (https://medium.com/@nitronick600/message-to-nebulous-labs-7c42df1f86d5). To those that have started to mine.

How much watts is it pulling? Any chance we could just run the APW3++ run on US 110 V?
APW3++ only 1200 watts on 110v. Even if bitmain overstated the draw, which they usually do....you would be cutting it awfully close.

Can someone post the power consumption details about A3 please? Really curious about a possibility to run Antminer A3 on 110V using APW3++....

Tested with 240V. Power is 1450W on wall

 On stock clock
Holeeee shit. Seems like they overclocked the shit out of these things. Just like the D3. What Frequency do they run at to get the 815mh??

Frequency running at 600.. temp is good, very stable miner..

What pool are you on ? How much is the miner earning per hour. Could you please share the configuration page, graying out confidential information. Thanks.

my pool is siamining.com
this is my configuration

Hey dt, what power supply unit are you using and are you on 220 or 120 volt?

I had the same issue did you make sure to restart the A3 (figured I'd ask)? Have you tried the reset?

also side note

Hey guys put together a thread on my Bitmain Antminer A3 results and will post some additional info and updates into it for those that are interested

Hey, I'm in USA with 120 volt power.... Now bitmain product says 1186 watts but now I've heard it needs 1450 watts....and I have the Bitmain AWP3++ (1200 watts max)

So I was planning to buy to buy a https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EON40CS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 600 watt PSU + https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DV1Z22K/ref=ox_sc_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1AMUYYA3CT6HJ an additional 2 6pin PCIE cables.

My question is, It appears the PSU with 600 watts comes with 2 PCIE 6pin connections, do you think I can add a 3rd and power a single one board with that power supply unit???

Also, If I'm in the USA on 120 volts should I use two separate wall outlets to plug in both PSU or is the single outlet fine?

Just want to make sure that the a3 will work with both PSU units before I buy that 2nd one with 600 watts.

Thanks

I saw that Ant-pool is adding Sia coin to there pool. I'm having trouble understanding how to mine Sia coin otherwise. Do you think it will be similar to setting up an S9? I also don't see Sia coin available on the antpool to mine.

I still dont see this on antpools website. Does anyone have an update?

I'm downloading the Sia wallet and sync the network now, I think that will help as the bittrex wallet is not that good and they do alot of maintenance it seems and can be hard to get profits off of sometimes too

evidently the antpool is mining sia but nothing shows up on the website so not sure how your supposed to manage it.

just an update on my trouble connecting, it seems the bittrex wallet address was causing problems as now im connected good with the Sia wallet address

NO ! NO ! NO ! NO !!!
Please know exactly what you're doing before bricking your miner.

You need either a 1600W power supply on a 220V circuit or a 2000W+ power supply on a 110V to run the miner.
You can theoretically power each board witt a single 600W P/S that has 3 PCIE 6 pin connectors, but them you'll need 4 power supplies (for 3 hashing boards + one for controller)
no matter what you do , you can not connect multiple different power supplies to same board !
Preferably , you should run on a 208/220/240V circuit.

unless you know what you're doing, you may also have the risk of blowing your electrical circuits as well as getting your house on fire !!

you must be careful and know what youre doing !

i have one of theese lying around my house .... and a3 on the way ..... do u think this one is ok ?
i think it is but I just wish to confirm .....

I'd suggest getting the Sia coin wallet while your waiting for the miner as you will need the address most likely.

Due to Sia's difficulty hardfork after block 139,000, you must upgrade your Sia wallet software to version 1.3.1 or higher.

Anyone got their A4 working with nicehash? I tried the stratum under Sia but the miner shuts down after a few seconds.  NVM found it:

"Temporary, we have disabled placing Blake2s orders and we may reinitiate placing them when we have stronger anti-market manipulation tactics in place."

If anyone/everyone is interested is talking some reason into Luxor and their "colleagues" against a soft fork invalidating A3 hardware, this is their discord.

https://discord.gg/4kVk89C

I doubt it'll help since they are blinded by their greed, but you never know..
