my advice you should join in some bounty campaign before starting trading, you can not start it because trading requires expertise, you can also raise capital from following some bounty

Yes, he/she can join a bounty campaign but the last time I checked no bounty campaign is accepting newbie. Besides,  joining a bounty or not, a newbie can still trade bitcoin and altcoin if he or she have the capital to proceed but I will the. OP to first read, learn and ask question about how crypto currency work.

Right now the market is a bit down and the cryptocurrencies you have are not upto their full potential and they'll definitely rise in the coming future. So it's better to hold them and wait for a pump and then if you wish you can trade it in ICOs rather than investing in some another coin. Okay, first you have to learn everything about trading technique like as supply demand or support resistance, average price, trend in several day, last month and charts market.
After that you have to learn about money management to choose the way like you want to be a day trader or a long term trader.
The last one you must learning every day and reading news in the several country, maybe bad news or good news.

You can lose your money if you don't have basic knowledge about trading. You are a newbie and you should focus first to improve your patience because I know that you can easily get panic.

While you are still learning it's better to buy more potential major top 10 coins and hold. When the times come that you are ready to trade then you can play the game. Give time to learn, read and read a lot. You will fail along the road but don't give up, keep moving and learn your mistake. Goodluck and happy trading.

Trading is not like that, there is such requirements to be a trader, if you have the money to start Trading and you have knowledge about it, why not. Buying those top 10 coins would do, but since OP is just a beginner, it would be better for him to start on cheap coins but also have the potential to grow(though its not bigger like those top 10 coins) when he is going to have profits in the long run.

But the point here is Trading is free thing to do, you just have to know to yourself if you are ready to all of the consequences that might happen while you are Trading.

Since you are a newbie on trading, i would suggest for you to learn some basic concept about it. Research for some strategy on how to effectively trade (newbies are more emotional since they are inexperience of it). Buy low, sell high maybe? Or you might want to use cost averaging method?
