The very simple tactic is to hold and look for opportunity. If you pick some coin before and have not make a move yet, the market dip is good time to buy.

I'm too nervous to try to make money on micro jumps. Therefore, I have no choice but to sit and wait for the real inevitable PUMP :)Of course, if there is Fiat money, then it's time to buy some famous altcoin. Remember, always try to diversify the risks! Good luck and take profit Wink

Its a normal way for a professional traders to hold and calm when the market is falling but they are closely watching and monitor nowadays to immediate sell when bump up again on a determine selling price. I adopted in the same way of tatics.

When the market falls this is a great opportunity to buy coins and wait for the right moment to sell them later.

Playing in the market can be a little bit tricky if you had just arrived there. There are thousands of advice on how to handle falling curve market situations but the best advice would be your own instinct. Falling crypto offers a great opportunity for the investors to get a coin at a lower price in a specific moment and to hold it or sell it later. I am personally holding my coins and I ain't even buying right now because I ain't so trustful in this phase that market is for the last 4 weeks.
If you have a nice portfolio of altcoins try to be patient but if you are doubting your current portfolio exchange some of your cryptos to FIAT for safe keeping.

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks

Try to study the concept of market and you will know when to invest or sell your coins. There are always positive speculations that is being created by bloggers and you can use this articles to boost your confidence and to make your own decision on what is the best time to sell your coins at the market or invest.

My tactic has been simply buying more! This moment of down will pass and we will be happy to have bought on such great value.

I'm confident in a market recoup.

Yes I agree with you. You should buy more of it. Grab the chance when the market is falling. It is where you can buy a lot with such a lower value. Then you should probably hold it. Take risk. Hold it for a longer time and when you now have the chance and see that the market is gradually increasing or being successful, it is now the time for you decide whether you will hold it for a little while or sell it and get a higher chance of profit. Just always be smart in investing, trading and holding.

When the market falls, this is usually a renewed attack by the FIAT markets on the Bitcoin. Solely geared to earn a lot of money a little later.
In no case panic. Do not sell. Bring fresh Fiat money and buy it with a great diversification.

Buy on the dips and keep holding. Sell only if you need to pay bills or put food on the table. The prices ought to go back up sooner or later.

when the market crashed there was one thing I might run. I will look at buying as many new coins as possible and will hold the coins. other than that the coins that I already have I will hold long term to get profit.

Best strategy is to get out fast from your alts before the market crashes, and stick to bitcoin so if the market happened you can buyback your alts on the bloodbath dips, its more cheaper than the usual price of these coins.

Hodl your coins. When market going falling, stop doing selling / cut-loss, this is tactics by big trader to push down the coins to lower price and buying it much. If you do panic selling, you are fresh meat for them.
I've seen on some channel in telegram and discord there were many group pump-dump with them schedule plan already. So, if you unsure when this market fall, just be patient and waiting other signal.

Ya setting a stop-loss is a good strategy to employ in long term wise, i see market can rise and fall over time.....  the advice i can give you is if you don't need the money you can try to hold on to it it might rise maybe in a few weeks time. In another way if you need the money you better cut loss now before its too late....

You are probably better than me in terms of trading . Only professional traders understand the value of stop lose. But assuming that you are newbie in trading the best strategy you can make is hold for a moment wait the market recover from market correction. If you see week of uptrend then that's the buying signal to engage again in investing. Very generic but effective.

Probably scalping would be the best type of trader in the times market fails,a scalper can trade with a bull and bear market you just need to know the basic scalping techniques,i suggest you should use 2-3 technical indicators so you wont be confused because less indicators will give you less distractions.

my suggestion is. If this is a coin worth holding. You do not have to deal with those fluctuations. It depends on what coins you believe.

When it is falling, a lot of people will ask you to buy or to hold, but you should look for the reasons why the price is falling, if its caused by usual correction then holding or buying is already correct, but if you found something suspicious, like the coin developer want to scammed people or there are weakness in the coin, then you should sell, investing in alt coin need patience and need a strong mind
There are many people regret for selling coin when its price goes down immediately. Actually, it’s very normal, because sometimes selling can help them reduce the risks. Nevertheless, as far as we know that the crypto currencies market is extremely volatile, it fluctuates currently, thus you should know that if you have plan for investing coins in long-term with the big profits, you should keep calm and patient because if it falls, it also increases. You’d better hold it, that helps you earn a lots.
