The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

The best option in my opinion is not to panic with the current market state. If you had some promising tokens from some good ICO its better to hodL, if you had some extra cash its a good idea to bought a bunch of tokens, because its cheaper than before.  That's the only benefit we can get from the current market better to exploit it.

Yes, the best thing to do when the market is falling especially if you bought when the price was high is to hold patiently till when the market recover and the price of the coin you hold rise to a high price for you to make profit, but if you bought when the price wan low and you hold on long term,if you believe when you sell your coin you will still make reasonable profit, you can sell it and buy back when the price is lower.
