And 0 blocks found, ever. As this is a PPLNS pool, it means nobody got a penny mining there yet. I'd suggest using siamining

@VoskCoin

What freq do you run your A3?  What are your temps?

freq 644 and I do not recommend overclocking in full disclosure etc whatever Cheesy

/ full dash https://imgur.com/sN20uA7

/ miner pulls in outside air currently around 40 f
How steady are your chip temps at 644, ambient temp of area?
Chip and PCB 3 always running 10% hotter than the rest, you notice the same?

Temps remain in this area consistently

ambient air is 15-65 (yeah va winter weather . . lol)

PS Miner can still be watched live here for another week https://goo.gl/S3o5Yz

http://www.letmegooglethat.com/?q=nicehash+antminer+a3

Very funny, completely original.  Anyone actually able to connect to NiceHash and mine SIA, that's what I would like to know.  Yes, I can see the pool info on NH's ASIC page.  Doesn't seem to work for me, so mining to Siamining.

Are you talking about this page?  https://www.nicehash.com/asic-mining   It lists every single algo, even ones that don't have an ASIC miner.  I think the page exists just for google SEO.  The reason I posteed that google link is because this question has been asked and answered numerous times on here.  There are multiple A3 threads so its not like I expect someone to read 100 pages of posts before asking the question, but simply googling the question shows you the posts!  To answer your question, Nicehash does not support the A3.  I'm guessing there are no SIA pools that are compatible.

can people in here post which pool you are mining to, and what your last 24-hour result has been for a single Antminer A3 ?

I have been mining Luxor Pool for 2 days, and have a payoput thus far of 2500+ siacoin, BUT it says there is a 24 hour ramp-up period, so i have no idea exactly how much of that has been int he last 24 hours...

I'm curious to compare the payouts of the various sicoin pools for the last 24 hour period

You would probably have made ~double that on siamining . .but don't just take my word for it

I have never heard of a pool requiring a 24 hour ramp up period lol.  They are probably just hoping enough suckers will mine there for 24 hours before realizing their technical issues are costing them money

This will be the closest thing you can get to finding out pool payouts:  https://siastats.info/mining_pools.html  Siamining and F2Pool have the same payout structure so technically payouts should be the same there.  They use PPS so you are paid per share regardless of the number of blocks found.  Luxor only pays when blocks are found and either they are having the worst string of luck or they are having technical problems.  They have had 1 day of positive luck since January 24.  It got so bad that they are switched to PPLNS to pass the savings, err costs, onto the customers.

Whattomine has also been strikingly accurate when telling you the earnings:  http://whattomine.com/coins/161-sc-blake-2b?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=823000&p=1300.0&fee=3.0&cost=0.1&hcost=2500.0&commit=Calculate

I noticed the difficulty went down by quite a bit? Did the A3 owners here notice anything?

Yeah, seconded. I ran my miner for 4 hours after they changed to PPLNS before switching over to siamining. My pending balance? 0.07SC. I'm sticking with siamining for now.

https://siamining.com/stats

If you read the box below the chart it spells it out pretty clearly:

What's going on with the difficulty? At block 135,000 a scheduled hardfork happened. Due to a bug in the new difficulty algorithm, the network difficulty first dropped to a very low number, then started targeting a block time of approximately 30 minutes (instead of the correct 10 minutes). This bug is being fixed by a new hardfork at block 139,000. It will take a few days before block times go back to normal (source). Meanwhile, ASICs have started mining, causing the difficulty to rise further.
