I over clocked.

Running 662
GH/S (avg)    917.49

Temps:
71    70     73

The trick i used was to set the speed, then reboot until I got the temps I wanted. Then leave it alone.

How long have you ran it like this so far?

I've been running 650 for about a week now with no problems. Same temp range (70-81) averaging around 900gh. Runs in a basement with room temps around 50-55F.

I have been running it like that for over 5 days. Once I saw the chain 3 temp at 74. that is as high as it has gone.

how bout the HW rate? increasing?

i honestly think HW errors increased a lot quicker when it was on stock. the below is for just over 5 days.

HW
Chain 1   34,533
Chain 2   12,767
Chain 3   64,072

I ran some tests, posted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2881452.0. I'm sticking to 681 as I'm taking advantage of cool ambient temps (miner next to an open window) and my HW error rate is a bit lower than it was when I tested.

I've been mining in SiaMining, but switched over to Luxor today to give it a shot now that their luck has been improving... I'm going to give it a few days before making the call on switching back.

HW errors are nothing to worry about considering Sia difficulty puts that at 0.00007% error rate..I wouldn't worry about it

I noticed the difficulty went down by quite a bit? Did the A3 owners here notice anything?

https://siamining.com/stats

If you read the box below the chart it spells it out pretty clearly:

What's going on with the difficulty? At block 135,000 a scheduled hardfork happened. Due to a bug in the new difficulty algorithm, the network difficulty first dropped to a very low number, then started targeting a block time of approximately 30 minutes (instead of the correct 10 minutes). This bug is being fixed by a new hardfork at block 139,000. It will take a few days before block times go back to normal (source). Meanwhile, ASICs have started mining, causing the difficulty to rise further.

Exactly... So I was wondering if the miners noticed anything?

Hope this isn't too off topic.  But has anyone in the USA changed shipment carriers from UPS to Fedex with Bitmain after a miner has already been ordered and paid for?

Does Fedex charge the same $70+ customs brokerage fee per miner like UPS does?

I ask here because I know A3 owners have recently received their miners from BM.

I ordered 3 batch 1 A3s via all three carriers to three different addresses, only UPS charged a brokerage fee. There were no fee from FedEx or DHL. Out of three UPS had the most expensive shipping fee + $72 brokerage fee.

UPS is a piece of shit.  Double the shipping cost of Fedex plus you have to pay an extra $72 on top of that and they are the last ones to deliver.

Thx for the response Hawkfish.  Good to know.  Now if I can only get BM to make the change.   They are not know for their customer service.
