Recently, KFC Canada has accepted Bitcoin payments for a short period of time. However, Bitcoin can only be used to place orders online, and only to purchase a new item called "Bitcoin Bucket". Major (9 Billion USD)  payment provider Stripe has just announced today they stop supporting Bitcoin payments - they conclude it because fewer and fewer are using it, and at the same time fees and transaction times makes it useless as a means of payment. Its a good thing that stores as reputable as KFC has recognized the capacity and Potential Bitcoin has and has moved ahead to accept the coin as a means of pay. I have seen a trend where when people or businesses starts to accept bitcoins for a payment method, the value starts to go very high and I know this will help the crypto community as a whole.

In Europe and Usa govs are going to regularize crypto use and tex them... (of course... LOL)
Once everything is clear, shops will be more likely to accept crypto as a payment method.
In the meantime small shops owners are not well informed and are afraid with this lack of regulamentation.

as an investor you are very lucky once your country has legalized bitcoin as a means of payment that can be used in general but in my country bitcoin is still prohibited for transactions directly

This is a very good news for all of bitcoin users. It was a good promotion from the stores. Maybe the store is aware in the cryptocurrency and it try how many people would hook in their promotion. Its good to hear that one of the famous franchise food chain is accepting bitcoin  as a payment.

But I think, it was only in the selected KFC Branch. Hopefully it will continue and other big  franchise company such as Jollibee, Mcdonalds, greenwich, shakeys and other food chains will follow the trend. It was so convenient if  it will have this kind of promotion in many business stores.

We hope that more large companies would accept payments in bitcoin and that would be a lot of convenience for us many people especially those who use bitcoin. It is not impossible to happen, so we must continue to use bitcoin and other crypto currencies because more people use it, the more companies will be attracted to use it also.
