There are a lot of altcoins that is really good in long term investment like ethereum and ripple and at this moment the prices of those coin are low because of this bearish market so maybe you consider buying it.

I would diversify my risks and invest in several coins at once , of course I would choose eos eth, they are great to store in long term

BNB could stay here for a while and eventually go up - and it could go up in USD value while losing BTC value once the bull market returns. It's still 100x in USD value from last August though, which is a lot more than many other coins can say. It has proven itself a good long term hold and hedge against bear markets, but as for buying right now to flip for a quick profit...not so sure. It's a good sign that it has stabilized though, because it may mean we really are at market bottom.

You need to buy Ethereum in my opinion mate. That is safe and ethereum have a bright future..
I believe in 2 years eth will do at least 10 or 15 x from here. So if 10 15 x is enough for you you can invest in ethereum.
If you want to look more huge gains you need to look low marketcap coins.

At the current price, it's a no-brainer, ETH is very undervalued just because of the bearish period.
When I say bearish, it does not reflect the real value of the price, ETH has more value but currently undervalued, and we know that it will rise
when the market rebound and eventually create a bullish trend.

two coins that you mentioned is very good for investment. both platforms are already running very good. We know the ethereum now are cheap and the ethereum but never lost their market. their community is very strong. While eos became a new platform that many people say will rival the ethereum as platform that is now the most widely used.

I know Bitcoin in 2017. I play too in ICO and lose my money because the ICO is scam. I suggest to you if you want to invest your money with a long term investment you can do a little research in 100 altcoin on marketcap.

ICO is not a scam, ICO has its practical value and application, I don't think the ICO is a fraud, as long as you choose a good ICO project, so you can get good returns, if you want to hold for a long time, so investment ICO is a good choice.

I partially agree...99% of ico or bounty are scam...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

When it comes to long term investment I think ethereum is one I consider the most because until now it has a good potential in the market so I think it's a good characteristic for a successful coin.

I suggest you to look at altcoins those are able to generate a regular income due to PoS or similar algorithm. At first, in this way you are more insured : your possible losses could covered by this income, at least partially,  if the price of the altcoin would drop. Secondly,   you just get more profit in positive market conditions.
For example, NEO: it generates GAS token automatically while you hold NEO in your wallet. You don't need to keep the wallet open, to do any action, etc., you need just put some NEO and forget for a while, then some of GAS will appear. It is also altcoin, it has a price and is traded on many exchanges.
Another example, STR : it's relatively new and isn't so well known as NEO. But it brings about 0.21% of profit per day(i.e. about 77% per year) while you hold a certain amount STR on your ETH.  But here you need to take a simple action once in 3-90 days in order to claim profit.

There are also many other altcoins with similar properties. Look for them, good luck.
