If there is some new news than it is in regards to his true identity and the lawenforcements.

The thing is, TF is intelligent enough that if he is jailed, he will not giveup a single BTC. So the only thing we could see is some punishement for TF, never a reimbursement.
but no one new about him right now I sure he is counting $ and enjoy this cheated money

I wouldn't be so sure about that, we had a pretty good clue where his house was located 2 months ago Wink
but issue is who is going behind him who is going to catch him or trying to bring him for punishment and bring our money back

Last i heard the aussie cyber cops are on this

i know who is behind inputs.io. I know his name, facebook page, where he goes to university, his race - everything.

So do a lot of us, there's a Dox thread on him over in the scam accusations forum.  Unless you happen to have a way to get access to our bitcoins, simply knowing who he is doesn't really help us out much here.

Well, if you know exactly who he is, means you can sue him.
Sueing doesn't imply you'll actually get your money back, but might mean he'd go do jail.
I'd say that would be still a great result.

I only recently found out about the coinlender business/scam and finished reading posts about it yesterday. I just want to say this is horrible and I hope everyone gets all or at least part of their money back. I still don't get why people don't go all the way to recover the money. (all the way = all the way, if you know what I mean Lips sealed ) but however, that's a unbelievable thing to do with thousands of bitcoins, so I'd say it would take unbelievable things to get them back or hold whoever's in charge responsible.

It's hard for most of us to tell which or how much of all that is in any way reliable or likely to be accurate. Is there a good review anywhere of the best-evidence-supported theories and dox?

It seemed legitimate enough that I forwarded the information on to the SEC a while ago to investigate.  Then again, so did CL back last July when I invested with it, so use your own judgment here.  Also, I do remember being on the forums last year when people were asking for TF's id, and he refused to give them his identification, but said that people on the forum know his real identity.

(In case anyone's curious about a response yet from the SEC, I haven't received one.  They are notorious for being an understaffed agency too, so I would be surprised if I hear from them soon.  Also, the page where I submitted the complaint said they only get back to you if the SEC finds the other party guilty.  So if they end up agreeing with TF's claim that he was hacked, I'll never hear back from them, unfortunately.)

Brief update:

-The officer in charge of the investigation is preparing a statement for me to sign, however she's going on leave for 2 weeks so it'll still be a while.
-They have also spoken to NSW police and almost confirmed TF's identity to an appropriate level of confidence (as I'm sure you all understand the police can't take our word for it Smiley)
-There is still a bit of work to be done on their part but as I mentioned before it isn't high priority.  Rest assured progress is being made, just slowly. I still can't make any promises on what will happen next though.

I guess not much is going to happen for a couple of weeks but when I hear more you'll know about it.

"looks like" implies that it is just a possibility.
