As long as it's not a fake-hardfork like the recent ethereum one this could be interesting.
We'll see if it's just fake again or not.

Callisto is not hardfork. It's first side-chain on ETC blockchain. And I hope that it is first bird after which we will see much more implementation of this technology. Sidechains will be uptrend on 2018.

It will push the price up for sure as etc is already heavily undervalued as its not really much different from eth,i am expecting to see etc price back to 10:1 etc/eth ratio that we used to had.Doesnt really matter what this fork brings to table as no1 bothers to read it or do the research its all about the hype

Read it on some  thread here or another site that it will cause Etherium Classic to go
towards $100 possibly into this event. May play out similar to the big gains in NXT leading to
IGNIS airdrop or not.

So much money loss in ignis airdrop because they dump nxt when the certain block raising to get the ignis airdrop.
Ignis value also not good enough to cover nxt user loss. Andnow dumping again because the issue of bitcoin. I dont think this airdrop will be getting people interest.

Of course it will. They are doing an ICO by proxy like what the NXT developers did with Ardor and Ignis.

The Callisto development team and its followers are conceivably buying a lot of Ethereum Classic right now, only to dump them on March 5th. It's a trick. Most of these platforms will be worthless in a few years and some smart people are taking advantage of the opportunity to make bitcoins while it's there.

I have no problem with that. The cryptospace is a place for opportunity. But you should also be well informed of their tricks.

I am new in this airdrop of a things and I will like to ask is airdrop do affect the price of an asset? Why I asked was that you said you are going to sell your "holding before airdrop"? Many analysts say that this year we should pay more attention to Ethereum Classic. This coin has many good events. If you still have free money, then you can invest in ETC. It will give you not a very large but a stable profit. Price below $20 is very good to get in imo.

I think it is a good idea to hold Ethereum Classiv for several weeks until the snapshot. But make sure to sell out before the snapshot will happen. Because I think it will dump after snapshot.

I think it is a good idea to hold Ethereum Classiv for several weeks until the snapshot. But make sure to sell out before the snapshot will happen. Because I think it will dump after snapshot.

Ofcourse it will, thats a no-brainer. The question is how much you value the callisto coin, enough to miss the selling opportunity or not. So it all comes down to how much your analysis says CLO should go for ..
