How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin?

In my country . The government does not prohibit the use of bitcoin. But the government does not recognize it as legal. There are still a lot of investors pouring capital into bitcoin. And everyone can freely exchange bitcoin. That is good news for us. It seems our government has realized the tremendous potential of bitcoin in the future.

I am from Bangladesh.In my country bitcoin is illegal.Cause many people buy bitcoin for avoiding government Tex and vat and day by day it will increasing.A group of people doing this types of thing.And harmful for our countries economical side.Also people doing drag business by bitcoin and few more illegal works which is dangerous for our country.That's why our government band bitcoin for our country.

Beside consider as criminal money, my government also afraid that bitcoin will make inflation for our currency.
When inflation happen then everything will be expensive ! That's why my government still not legalize yet until they make the decision about how they should regulate bitcoin in the future !

The government's reaction to bitcoin in my country is too afraid to recognize bitcoin as a safe currency for investments and other transactions. So that the government do not recommend his people to use this currency. They do not at all completely ban bitcoin they just urged people not to use bitcoin because it is not safe and can be used for crime.

Many governments are afraid of the bitcoin that is the reason many countries are trying to regulate and control its usage.In my country also bitcoin is neither legal nor illegal so we don't have any taxes yet so many people are enjoying profits from crypto currencies.But still many small country governments are not decided what to do with the crypto currency on their country.

today most of the governments in the world mostly haven't chosen to ban or legalize, only a few countries have expressed their choosen by legalizing bitcoin and taxing its users like the US and some governments also ban bitcoin from being used, but most are still neither, including my country so I'm still very free to use bitcoin without rules and taxes

No updates yet from my government in Indonesia since the last time they started to declared bitcoin was illegal but trying to apply blockchain system into the government system. So basically the legality in my country is still in gray area and the last time i heard they also try to implement income tax law for bitcoin transactions just like India trying to do right? However i dont think the law can be implemented soon enough, might take several months or years except bitcoin rise again and spook the whole world

I am from Philippines and there is a news that is circulating some time now that our government is adapting or accepting bitcoin. Some says this is bad because government will start to implement some kind of tax laws which will make everything hard for us bitcoin owners. On the other hand some people believe that with this move by the Philippine government, other countries as well might considering to do the same move as they did which would be great for us for bitcoin will start to be accepted and embrace by people.

Bitcoin will not be recognized as legal currency because your countru already has one. Bitcoin is just an alternate to fiat money that serves as e-money to do transactions online.
Anyways bitcoin is well accepted here in the Philippines now. Lawmakers are now looking to regulate bitcoin.

Hello! I am from Indonesia. In my country, Bitcoin is still not recognized by the Government and its position is still not legal. I do not understand why the Government still has not legalized Bitcoin in Indonesia. But although it has not been legalized, Bitcoin in Indonesia may still be used for investment assets but should not be used for transaction tools. And I hope the Government immediately legalize Bitcoin so that its users more freedom to use Bitcoin.

In my country there is still some kind of silence when Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are in question. It seems that  both central bank and government are not sure what and how to do with it.
Since I'm from one of european countries I guess they are waiting for some EU directive that will make them to regulate Bitcoin in some way. Only thing they do is to warn from time to time people that investing in cryptocurrencies is risky.

How does your government react to Bitcoin?
I am in Vietnam, my government is too small so their fear of Bitcoin dominating the whole of the financial market is understandable!
And I think that the government of our country to capture the crypto currency market to accelerate the level of wealth and growth of the whole system like VENEZUELA is doing is completely understandable, just how much time it takes. So that the government can understand and do it!
For myself, I will call, support and develop ideas to accelerate and help more people understand crypto currency!

In fact, our national bank here in our country recognized bitcoin which can be accessible through the application coins.ph. The coins.ph application is very convenient to use which we can pay our utility bills like water and electric bill that authorized by our government  and many features as our government support bitcoin that makes everyone of us comfortable through their fast, easy and reliable transactions.

Thankful that our country is not against this trend.  I likewise saw a news before wherein our central bank accepts or legalized bitcoin.  But they warned everyone to atleast be cautious as bitcoin is not regulated by the central bank.  When having some investment they said that there is a big risk as they did not back up bitcoin.

It's the same here in our country, the government is open with the use of cryptocurrency but is on the process of analyzing it to make some regulations. The government and media always warning people about the risk of cryptocurrency but not entirely negative about it.

I can say that we are so glad here in the Philippines wherein it is not banned even somehow it is risky. Good thing is that they are just reminding Filipino people to be aware about the stability of Bitcoin for it might bring a big losses if not observed. This was a good start for a good acceptance of our country in this new trend about cryptocurrency.
