I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

Everyone has their own way of choosing a bounty. Some choose the bounty by looking at who the bounty manager is, some choose by reading the whitepaper, visiting the website and looking at the roadmap. If they think the bounty will run smoothly and have a manager who can be relied on then you can join it.

Unfortunately, there is not much to do in this regard. There are so many garbage projects in the middle. Naturally, it is impossible to prevent them. Unfortunately many of them disappear without investing, but unfortunately, it is becoming a retirement.

That's why it's good to always do research about a project that one wanna do bounty for so as to avoid such situation of getting to know that it's fake Ico bounty,  it really hurts getting to know such after participating in such bounty for a long period of time

When find a good ICO and scam, one thing is showing amount of funds that have been raised in the pre-sale.
The bounties was announced by Hero. The numeral of trust on Bitcointalk is high.

It may not  become that  burdensome to detect a fraud ico, solely confirm the team and their basic records prudently then establish whether they look valid.

The most helpless thing about the bounty mission is that even a very good bounty mission can be fake, but I can suggest that you observe the white paper and the number of items to follow!

This is a well-known fact that most ICOs are either Scamms or are loser in advance. So do not worry with the question, if you are wasting your time!) you probably are)) But there are also projects that could bring you money. Just keep searching and you will find this goldmine sooner or later.

If they are really scammers then you do not receive your payment, you should try to analyze the project in more detail!

There are no particular ways to differentiate a good project from a bad one and for you to be able to do this, you need to take your time to do a very good research of the project, read the whitepaper, study the roadmap/website structure, check the community and team members before you join the campaign.

Be selective in bounty you are joining with first check the credibility of the people who run the project if they  devulge their identity. second bounty manager is a factor slso if the rank of the BM managing the bounty is newbie or junior you should be doubt to join better choose those who are highranking as they themselves are selective also to accept managing the ico campaign.

I think the only way to know is to look at the team. The problem is that many of the people that makes the ICO are not that know soo really nothing can help you differentiate scam from legit icos. You just have to see for yourself by the end of the ico if they are legit or not.

Yes, that is a main problem we are having now. I have joined few bounty campaigns and few of them became scam. The bad side of this is, some people may invest money on those by seeing our post sharing on social media. That make me upset a bit.

Analyze projects. Start Dating on the forum and in the future it will help you less likely to stumble upon fraud. Yes, you still sometimes awake to bump into them, but the frequency will decrease.

Now these ICO are good but they fail on the part of gathering crowds fund and there are many factors to consider like reaching out company partnership to help promote.

the quality bounties is depends on their ICOs project. for me i only choose bounty when their project have been running ICOs. because when we are joining bounty programs while the ICOs running we can actually know how many funds are collected, it can be minimalize fake ICOs

for sure in the last months a lot of fake and scams project were launched and the sad part is that people lost money. I will be glad when this sort of projects can't launch and when they will be spotted.

It is through that most of the ICO's are fake and the issue is how do we choose between the two? Fake and real ICO's  before we start to invest into them. Because of these issues, i have halt investment into ICO's and will resume next year, 2019. I'm saturated with scams a lot  Cry

Unfortunately there are so many scam projects that is very difficult recognize from the beginning evn for experienced people. As of today we could only do better researches in order to join only good campaigns. That wouldn't give of course 100% guarantie but still chances to join good ICO are high in this case.
