I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
Find a really good project in terms of clarity of the project, developer, whitepepper, and often consult with your colleagues.

it's difficult to discover from the beginning fake bounties.
When I join one I look at their social and look if there are real photos of congress etc they are doing.

I have had the incidence of the same, I work 3 months following the bounty ie moyanetwork and until now they have disappeared. indeed they give me a coin but this is a coin dead can not be used.
I am currently starting to learn to understand the bounty project I want to follow. by researching the website and studying their whitepaper.

As mentioned above, a very important indicator of a good project (not scams) will be the participation of the development team in various summits and conferences on blockchain technologies.

If you ended up joining a scam bounty campaign, I think it's your fault because you do not do your research on the project and the bounty manager. You can try to follow an experienced member or a Hero member here if in a bounty campaign has a lot of high ranking members then possible that the project good and profitable. I think there are a lot of ways to check the project if it's legitimate or not, but the easiest way is to copy the other members.

I don't think there is a way to be sure an ICO or bounty program is legit. Do the work and hope to get paid is what it looks like to me. For the time being I am going to see what happens with these projects before I decide to continue with other Bounty / ICO "opportunities".

I think there is no way that we can be sure if an ICO or bounty program is legitimate, Do the work of the bounty and get paid but be sure to idntify and analyse always before you proceed.

Yes if you think that your gift is a fraud, then leave immediately. You have experienced the kind that you follow to the end but are finally still waiting and you are told that they are cheating people's money. If you are involved in this fake thread, you have no way of getting anything. You can choose extraordinary gift managers, which generally do not happen, and avoid only member-level managers and Bounty members.

if you have already become a client of such a company, then it's a sad experience and a lesson that every company needs to study and read about the company, to look at the social network of the team where it moves!

I think there's nothing we can do about it yet. We have no power to change anything. If we unite, we may succeed.

To be honest, I'm also new to the ICO campaign, and I think it's hard to tell the difference between an ICO quality and an ICO scam.
Although I have learned more about the roadmap and whitepaper about the ICO project, after a few weeks of campaigning ICO suddenly became a scam for not counting our campaigns in the spreadsheet.
So I conclude now how to find an ICO quality :
1. Choosing an ICO Project managed by a Professional Manager
2. Better payment of ICO Project campaign with Bitcoin, this is only my priority when selecting a project ICO

I think right now, it's hard to know if that project are SCAM. Even you have read their whitepaper, and many more, they will make that project look like the legit project. But not all, just few of SCAM do that like Bitpenta, it's look like good project but actually it's SCAM.

In order not to get on the bounty scam, you need to choose projects in which well-known managers with good trust. Just look at the pre-sail if the bounty is good they will collect a lot of money. Be careful when choosing a bounty.

All we can do is abandon the bounty if we find it scam.
There is no easy way to distinguish good ones from scams.
Before taking part in the bounty, just ask yourself: will I invest in this project?
If your answer is yes, then the bounty should also be good.

Hi. If you find yourself in a fake ICO bounties, better to separate as much as possible to find another better ICO bounties. It is ok when we sometimes not notice to join a scam ICO, it gives us experience now how to differentiate it from good ones. From that, we will learn and give us knowledge to find much better ICO bounties.

you better be smart in finding a good bounties so you will not be a victim of the scammers. Its just that you have to analyse and understand their project before you enter into it.

I also participated two bounty campaign that are scam before that's why I don't want to be involved again in those kind of campaigns because it wasted my time in doing their given task to us and didn't give our rewards after the end of the campaign. So we better choose the right campaign that will pay are rewards after the end of their campaigns and I think we cannot do anything about it when they scam are investments, we can just report it that we can notify other people.

Actually, to differentiate between the genuine and scam bounties, it will be very hard. It is likely differentiating the legit ICO and scam ICO. Here, what I commonly do is by analyzing their team and wallet transaction including their presentation of their project. I will also learn their transaction on the wallet whether they are real or only transaction for some similar wallets. Just check and re-check on the community. Follow the telegram channel community to find the progress of the project.
